  14. Wireless trolling motor

    Got a great deal on a new, but as is boat, last year. Was what I wanted with the exception of the trolling motor. It came with a MG 24 volt 75 pound wireless TM. I've used foot controlled trolling motors for 30+ years but couldn't get used to this wireless one. It is very noisy when turning left or right. It's ok when running down a shoreline and casting but hovering over a brush pile or structure seems much more difficult. There is also a slight delay when using the control. Does anyone have any input on this motor and does it take a while to get used to, or is just I'm an old dog and that's a new trick?
