IMHO I believe these lures to be under used by most bass fishermen even though they get great results. Do you use them and what is your favorite.

Ditto, I also voted Gamakatsu because I use them the most, but also like Owner hooks. My favorite though is the one that comes back to the boat with the fish dangling from it.

Thanks for the heads up Goose. Probably have my catalog tomorrow. $100 dollar drop in the 2 top of the line, makes you wonder.

I love Fenwick rods and have used them for a long time. I especially like the HMG's and the Techna AV's which are being done away with. I'm not completely sold on the newer Elite Tech's yet. If I was to buy a new spinning rod like you explained, IMO, I don't think you could do better than to buy a Techna AV.
