Hey guys, Sherwin Williams has a new paint color - Blonde. It ain't real bright but, it sure spreads easy! ;D ;D ;D
  2. snakehead fish, tarpon, peacock bass, muskie all have tons of energy
  3. showing by the type of baits you used, i know you where a good guide, 35 years of experience. 8-)
  4. caught this fish when i was a senior in high school, I know what people think about snakehead fish. I caught this fish in a different country, not the in U.S. The most surprising thing about this fish is it can jump like saltwater fish, tarpon . I caught one 8lb snakehead that jumped up to 2-3feet out of the water. It's really amazing animal, that most fisherman know little about. Also personal best of 10lb northern snakehead, 13lb largemouth bass, 4lb chain pickerel, 15lb channel catfish, 15lb smallmouth buffalo,23lb common carp,2lb rainbow trout,8lb orange koi and 3ft freshwater eel.
  5. all spro frogs work, its a high price lure, the color doesn't really matter

Gulp goby is one of few gulp baits that work.

  8. work those jigs in the lily pads if its that thick and other weedless lures. Good luck and post you catch. 8-)
  9. flowing water for some reason effects fish, might be one reason hybrids form. Thanks , but that white crappie isnt mine. I just used that pic as an example.
  10. endless lily pads, go use some frogs and your favorite cranks
  11. i fish a very similar area, with no trees, vegetation but rocks and boulders. Go deep, good luck 8-)
  12. hooks not sharp enough :-? your saying you already had alot of bites, so your using the right stuff. Might just be the hooks.
  13. The fish on the top is a crappie/bluegill hybrid. sorry Ewokmonsta720 , there are no crappie where i fish. its not crappie/bluegill hybrid
  14. serious threat and should be avoided. serious threat and shouldn't be avoided. If you have a chance to catch one, dont release it back.
  15. Olebiker, i dont hate grass carp, i caught many in the past and they are a hard fighting fish. The problem with this fish is how it eats, it can eat almost two or three times more then common carp. The grass carp feeds in a way that it throws up the food and kills the plants and fish population. Common carp dont harm your body of water like the grass carp. The grass carp is a serious threat, and will destroy you fish habitat or any body of water in States.
  16. it is proven that grass carp are more of a danger to fish habitats in the States then common carp. Ask doug.
  17. use the same baits for grass carp that other carp eat.
  18. Before you are "allowed" to pay $150 for your fishing license you have to take an exam. If you don't pass, no license. They only have these exams in spring (3 times) and if you don't pass, no fishing for you till next year! T-rig is 100% CORRECT, I also lived in Germany, the fishing laws are very harsh compared to the states, but they do have world record size pike, trout, and carp.
  19. its not really hard to snag for carp. good luck with that.
