was using trilene xl 14lb test. that is the second time that happened to me in the last few months. the last time it happened ,i set the hook and it broke at the knot and the fish was only about 3 lbs same thing happen to me, but with berkley vanish 15lb test and broke on a 6lb largemouth also 3-4lbers.

I use up to 20-30 lures,i always stick to what works for me. lures that caught tons of bass 50+ years ago, will still catch tons of bass today.

should i retie every time i go out because it shouldnt have broke the line while the drag was going out? after every few fish, it gets hard at times because your having too much fun. : Same thing happen to me before, with a big fish.

didnt really catch anything with the WildEye Live Sunfish.

HUGE 12" buzz bait by booyah, i have seen also, it might work. :-? Well most of other bill dancer lures didnt really catch fish that well for me.
