Thanks for the info. The instruction manual is in Japanese because I bought it from Digitaka. Will definitely take it out tomorrow to fine tune the internal breaks

So I just recently bought one and I have never fished Shimano before. Always been fishing Abu Garcias. My question is how do you work the internal breaking system? There are 4 pins which goes up or down but is that how you set the breaking or is there suppose to be some clicking involved to show that the breaks are applied?

I saw a post recently on facebook from Shimano showcasing their new rod lineup for 2017. The Exage, the new redesigned Compre and Convergence, Scimitar, Stimula, and Talavera Inshore rod. Any thoughts on these rods? The price ranges at most to $120.
