hah the only thing your missing out is the casting ability and a better way to work your lures, but spinning i love but i prefer baitcasting. Whatever works best for you then stick to it.

actually catching a bass with a jig, learn the shaky head, drop shotting, and most importantly learn how to use a baitcaster.

Same here last 4 trips to my local lake managed to get one small one, and skunked out the last 3. Sadness, its slowed down big time.
