i can't tell you a specific lake, but i can tell you that if you can find some backwaters or coves with stagnant water, that's where they'll be concentrated. and i absolutely, accidentally slay em with plastic craws

yeah it's suckin here real bad too. two weeks of straight sun. drier than a bone here. i'll get lucky during a 5-6 hour trip and catch 2 or 3 loners lookin for a snack. i do the best in the mornings getting out as early as i can, as the lake has had all night to cool down, throwing small spinnerbaits. gets so hot so quick, eventually i can't handle it. other than that, look for deep shade.

Joe D nailed it. i've been out on lake washington in mississippi a couple times which is full of cypress trees. i always get out and think, man where do i start because it all looks so prime for holding bass. so yes, look for the details Joe described. banging cranks off trees and stumps and flippin black and blue jigs in and around those type of areas have worked for me

a lot of folks seem to find the keel weighted hook productive, but as for me, i can't be faded with a t rigged craw worm 8-)

recently another fan of the game hog. little bit bigger profile than a baby brush hog, but not as huge as the regular b hog. and i think they hold up a bit better.

he means exactly what he says. for example dude thinks aggresive bass bite curly tails. bass will "tell" you if they are aggresive or not. some folks think finiky bass prefer a paddle or straight tail. i personally don't think it matters as much as color choice
