Any World Cup fans???
clockwork orange. nickname for hollands national team due to their precision passing

Which is it?
The right color attracts bass, detail attracts the fisherman. It's a reaction bite application so the bass aren't worried about details, as you stated. nice topic

Fishing topped-out hydrilla/pegging weights
i wonder why people push that rig over these...http://www.crucialtackle.com/catalog/item/5843850/6756852.htm. why bother with the bobber stopper and a punch stop when you can just screw the weight to the bait?

Full Pond of PIGS but no strikes... suggestions???
I'm with Big-O. There is no doubt she would bite a worm. any worm, any length. i'd just throw a good ole baby brushog in watermelon w purple flake or junebug. cast, let it sink, hop it slowly back to you.

What do you consider a successful day when fishing?
dude relax and just answer the post question, why can't you just hear him out and let that be that? all fishing buds was saying was that he enjoys himself regardless of the amount of fish he catches, a day on the water is a success. Why can't you let him have that? geez. :

reservoir: fishing flooded land
I got lucky enough to acquire a very detailed aerial photograph of the area I fish before it was flooded. There are SO many places down below i never knew existed before i saw this map. There are probably 25-30 former oxbow lakes that get my attention the most. Do you think these things could be honey holes? I know there is only one way to find out, and my first trip with this new knowledge is tomorrow morning. The electronics on the boat aren't the best so this was like finding a treasure map. Only the folks who've fished this place their whole lives know these secrets. But is there a certain feature i should keep an eye out for in these oxbows? Are some better than the others and why? Some oxbows are oxbows off of other oxbows, away for what used to be the main river. What else should I look for?

how would you fish this
http://www.tru-tungsten.com/denny-brauers-flippin-weights.html. i use the 1.5 oz to punch through that stuff. beavers, brushogs, lizards and flukes all work. Or cast a brushog on top weightless, pull it to the edge of the weeds and let it fall right beside it

Stained and or muddy water
I second Catt's input. Bigger, darker baits with sufficient water displacement. War eagle has a dark purple spinnerbait for night fishing that has one big, shiny, purple colorado on it. I bite a half inch off the head of a junebug red baby brushog, and throw it on there for a trailer. And if the moon is out, i drag a big *** lizard across the surface in the pads or near the bank for some topwater action. Catt got me all excited talkin about a big jig through some grass in 12' of water, i need to give that a shot. it's all great fun till the mosquitoes become an insane, cloudy swarm

Weather?
you need 40' power poles ;D
-
Does time of day change where the fish will be?
so i need to study shad patterns and behavior more than bass behavior.

What happens after
i've heard they're stunned pretty bad for a couple days after being caught, then i've also heard people catching the same fish twice in a day. seems to be so many variables in play here it's hard to know for certain. wish we could put a tiny camera on one female and one male caught.
