  16. So whats a strong wide gap hook thats of thinner gauge? i like the gammy superlines for fishing plastics within like 25 feet, but when i'm making long casts with a lizard for example to flooded brush, i need a smaller gauge to set the hook easier. i'm always paranoid i'm gonna catch a big un' thats gonna bend my hook out her mouth with these thin hooks so all i've bought recently are superlines and some of owners thicker wide gaps. but like i said i can't set the hook from far away with a hook that thick. i know using braid would pull more line on a hook set reducing the amount of effort, but I prefer fluorocarbon in this application. any suggestions to a righteous strong but thin wide gap ? thanks.
  17. not stupid. from my experience a carolina rig helps you cover a wide surface area better, more of a locator rig. apparently that's all down the toilet now though cause these guys are talkin about fishin a DS horizontally, which is great, i'm just used to droppin it down and fishin it within the close vicinity of the boat. also a drop shot suspends your lure off the bottom and above grass for example like Rhino mentioned, closer to the bass's field of vision. a worm gets better action suspended off the bottom, the bottom stops it from moving as much
  18. i think dave and catt pretty much nailed it but this one rings scary truth. i don't feel like i'm drowning but i could have a clinger on my hands. you can't make a happy human family with a bass so she's just gonna have to live with me splitting my attention with my bassin'.could her dreams be creepin into my head while we sleep? thanks dudes
  19. Last night i dreamt i caught a bass inside a flooded house and when i released it, it turned into a beautiful girl that ended up liking me for the rest of the dream. i even remember apologizing to her for hooking her lip. dreams aren't totally random they gotta stem from some sort of reality within. what does this one mean?? :-?
  20. The three pound smallmouth spit one up that was about 7 to 9 inches long and about 2-3 inches deep from the top of the back to the belly. I couldn't believe a smallmouth that size could eat something that big. wow. if they keep eatin like that, they'll end up evolving with bigger mouths!
