growing up in the south, i was rasied to think european soccer was for pansies, but man are these guys hardcore. starting to find it more interesting than the american version of football. first off there aren't commercials, these dudes run their arses off, 90 minutes with a 15 min halftime. no run, huddle, run, huddle, just straight balls to the wall. also sprinting with the ball at your feet and passing it all the way to the other side of the field to someone elses foot without having to break their stride is close to magical to me. and hitting the ball with their foot and curving a shot in a desired direction is insane. and the fans, man oh man the fans. they're not gettin up all the time to buy beer and food, they're completely sucked in, chanting and screaming, you would think their life depended on it. personally, i'm an arsenal fan. anyone else? soccplayer07? i feel a bashin comin. ;D

yeah i went last night to bass pro and walked up to the red eye shad display and pretty much every color was available except the gold and black.(van damns weapon last weekend) people think they can just buy what he used and catch em. ;D ;D

seems like here in mississippi, it's going straight from winter to summer, gettin screwed on spring fishing. i hate it and would give my left one to get some quality fishing time in so i can justify being the hostage of a bait gorilla all winter

i caught them when i was a kid just by scraping a net through some mud in a ditch in front of my house, after a heavy rain. i would get some that looked like baby lobsters. unfortunately, it was before i fished for bass religiously.

pad fields dominate the river system i fish and i LOVE IT. i've caught fish in all stages of a pad fields life, and it could be that running river water is constantly replenishing the oxygen so my opinion may not count here. but i'm with rhino in that there is an offset, and nature compensates. overthinking is def occuring.

ok i realize i'm off topic, but so many folks talk about punchin mats with these 1 oz + weights and expect to get bit on the fall. how in the world does a bass bite a bait that comes crashing through a mat and falls through the water going mach 8? i'm not a nonbeliever, just wanna know how this works
