Beech Lake - Lexington, TN
As long as it's powerful enough to keep your boat straight you should be fine. Being able to troll up river against the current is just a plus. I will say though if you do get on them it's nearly impossible to hold your spot.

rain suit
Saw a red columbia suit the other day at Gander Mountain that looked sharp.

Kel Tec's high capacity defense shotgun
I would love to get one of those and one of these. But Kel Tec guns are always impossible to get when they first come out. http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/pistols/pmr-30/

It's time to go to El Salto. :)
Is a trip like this a couple of thousand or more like 4 or 5? Just curious I've always wanted to do something like this.

Beech Lake - Lexington, TN
I've only fished beech one but it's funny you mentioned it because I was thinking about going out there Saturday. I've got a lot of new gear I'm dying to fish with! I've been on the lake for recreational purposes probably 100 times. That being said there's not many stumps in the lake unless there all under water and I've never noticed them. But at the same time I've never taken a ski boat up into all the coves so it's possible there are. I know when I did fish it, it was decent and we boated several fish. At the very back of the lake I remember there being an area with some sort of tall growth I don't think it was grass, it was like a tall underwater plant that grew off the bottom and came up to about a foot under the water. Those plants were everywhere back there. It was two years ago so I have no idea if that is always there or not. Across the lake from the boat ramp there are houses and a canal that runs back a little ways. If you like flippin docks theres a couple over there. It's pretty cool to look at those mansions too. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but just thought I'd try to tell you what I do know. Maybe I will see you guys out there. Can't decide on getting there early or letting it warm up a little! ;D Oh yea, I've been on Pine but never fished it. It's a lot smaller if I remember correctly. Good Luck! Let me know how you guys do if I don't see you out there.

Vince Young no longer a Titan
A friend of mine got the chance to go in the players parking garage and meet a lot of the players one game. He walked up to Vince Young and asked for his autograph and he looked at him like he was stupid and told him he wasn't a little kid. ;D

Tracker boat seat
Thanks! That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'll need a new pedestal as well because mine would be to low and does not raise up and down. Anyone know the size I need that would just snap right into the base on the ground?

Tracker boat seat
Anyone know of a website where I can buy a boat seat that's like the ones where your kind of sitting/standing for a bass tracker? I'm not sure I really explained it well but the ones that are in the nice boats like rangers, tritons, etc...

Comparison info needed on Loomis crankbait rods
I've got the 843 as well and just picked up the 845. I haven't used it yet but from what I've read I think it's the best choice for me anyways.

What Line for topwater?
I've been thinking about sticking with flouro but since it sinks I feel like I would be able to work baits better with something else.

What Line for topwater?
I've finally got a setup that I can dedicate to topwater and can't decide what line braid or mono? Majority of the time I'll be throwing a pop r or a buzz bait with the occasional spinnerbait. The reel is a fuego, if I did go with braid does this reel handle it well? Thanks

Yer Favorite Baitcasting reel for under $150.00?
I don't think you can beat the Curado's for the money. I bought one and wasn't expecting to much out of it compared to my 200 dollar range daiwas and I was definitely wrong. In your price range I think it's the best reel for the money.

360 or ps3
I've had both. If your a Halo fan get an Xbox. That's about the only game that could draw me back to the xbox. I've actually had 3 xbox's because they break and get the red ring of death. Surely this issue is fixed by now though. I haven't heard of many PS3's breaking like that. I love my PS3.

lure launch
I've got a buddy that no matter how many times I drill into his head to check his knot or if he see's his line is nicked up to retie he doesn't listen. Every trip he either snaps his line and sends a lure into the trees or breaks off on a fish. It drives me nuts! I actually get sorta mad and it's not my fish or money spent on lures. I know these things happen from time to time but with him its just ignorance ;D! Oh well

Bass Tracker Owners
Yea the boat and motor fit my needs for now I just wish I had a big deck on the front. Mine is a 2000 I'm sure they are close to the same boat, but I normally let my fishing partner lay his rods on the rod locker since he's closer to it. I though about getting this for the back but not sure if it would be in the way or not. http://www.***.com/Bac_Rac_Rod_Rack/descpage-BACRACK.html

Bass Tracker Owners
I've got a bass tracker pro crappie and was wondering if any of you that own one have trouble managing 5 or 6 rods and reels at the front of the boat? Obviously since it is a pro crappie it wasn't built to be ideal for bass fishing but I'm sure someone on here has a good method or knows something I can buy to help with this. I'm not worried about storing them in the boat, I just need an easy way to maintain them all at the front of the boat. Due to the lack of room I'm not sure there will be a great answer but just thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks

G loomis Swimbait Rods?
I just got the 955 for Christmas. I was in your same situation debating on those two rods. I'm pairing mine with a Curado 300e. I haven't used it yet and honestly just started throwing swimbaits this fall. I don't plan on having multiple swimbait combos at least not anytime soon so my thoughts were the 955 would be the most versatile rod for me. I don't have any swimbaits over 3 oz right now but like to keep my options open.

Cranking Rods
I've got the Loomis 843 and 847 and they are great rods. I've got the 845 in the mail now. I just bought it from ohya.com for 184 with free shipping. I'm not sure how long the sale will last but go there and add the rod to your cart and put in coupon code "holiday25" and it will give you 25% off. Free shipping on Loomis rods right now as well. Anyone wanting an NRX rod, now is the time. I believe with the 25% off there about the price of a GLX or maybe even a little cheaper.

Polarized Lens tints???
The polycarbonate lens is much lighter but when I tried them on it seemed like the clarity didn't compare to the glass lenses. But if your happy with them they definitely won't break as easy. I've broken one pair twice. Both times were my fault but I doubt a plastic or polycarbonate lens would have broke.

Polarized Lens tints???
I own 2 pairs of Costas and have fished with several pairs. I have 580 copper glass and 580 silver glass. These are the 2 best to me as far as seeing down into the water goes. I've fished in a pair of blue mirror as well. The mirrored tints block the sun better but do not give you the clarity into the water that the other 2 I mentioned give. All the 580 lenses are great it's really just preference but to me I can sacrifice it being a little brighter to be able to see deeper. It doesn't help me catch fish I just enjoy it more. Again it's all personal preference. I think you'll be happy with any of there lenses.

The Steez Reels ARE worth EVERY penny.
I like high end tackle and if I had one I know I'd say the same. But with my core cumara combos I just can't make myself try one out. I know you were a big core guy for a while and went back to steez but I just can't make myself take the leap!
