  1. Their website! lunkercity.com. Im getting ready to order afew packs of 9" sluggos for the striped bass.
  2. I bent the blade back. see how it runs next time I go to the river. Maybe I'll get some pics up. Bluebasser, can you burn your lures fast and they run true?
  3. Should I bend back the top flat part of the blade?
  4. My chatterbaits that I have been creating have problems. Each lure has a small zone of retrieve speed where it will run right, other wise it won't woble or it will spin or veer off. And the hardware gets all tangled up sometimes. I can not burn or rip my lures like I can a factory made chatterbait brand, my lures would run all out of wack. Is this bad luck or is my hardware mismatched, or is this normal?
  5. What do you think. I was impressed by the action of my new scrounger. I also started making my own chatterbaits. Is there a defined niche for each bait?
  6. Very rarely that fish will strike again unless it is very aggressive. However it is definitely worth some more casts in that spot as there could be other fish excited by the commotion.
  7. That is a very strange looking pike if it is one. The spots on that fish are more like vertical bars of a musky. I say musky. but I would also consider that it could be a freak hybrid of some sort.
  8. I have thought with all this technology on the modern bass boat, why don't they just rig up an electroshock unit and shock em up.
  9. I think people have found frogs and toads alot cooler than the old johnson silver minnow.
  10. You say you will be river fishing; the torpedo is killer on river run LM and SM. Its also fun to tinker with the angle of the prop and vary your retrieve/rips and pauses.
  11. Smallmouth bass were stocked all over extensively, carried allover the country in freight trains and stocked.
  12. I have an older balsa crankbait that has a citrus shad finish on it, but with no eyes and some other wear. I want to paint it red or red and black. What kind of paint can I get? thanks.
  13. I can't find any of these but I have seen them somewhere before. Can anyone get me a link?
  14. I think they like to occasional stretch out their jaw and gill muscles.
  15. They are part of the ecosystem. They contribute to the biomass balance of rivers, lakes and watersheds. I think we can fish alongside these birds.
  16. Nice catch. Whats the length of that creature?
  17. Maybe its a saltwater musky. Whatever specie it looks like a fun predator to angle for.
  18. Im waiting for the snow to melt before I hike down to the Merrimack. I will be going for carp.
  19. lb for lb, they fight better than smallies.
  20. Probably be a nice addition to your aquarium. I would like to find one at the fish shop.
  21. I like a float and fly. clean, easy, and professional.
  22. Try baby bass. Rapala has a very realistic baby bass pattern.
  23. Bait casting reel, with left hand retrieve, with bait clicker. This would be a backup reel for my round made in Sweden ambassaduer that I use for carp and or cat. the bps megacast round reel looks fabulous with the gold finish and baitclicker, but has no Left option. If you don't have any suggestions I might just get that reel. This isn't for casting and retrieving but rather casting and putting that clicker on.
  24. No bowfin where I fish, but from what I gather they seem like fair game. Any special tactic that targets them?
