  2. Green pumpkin jig w/ green pumpkin trailer is the only one I've caught anything on...
  3. Strike king and Booyah...I use them because of the low price..The river here is rocky bottom and I seem to lose them.
  4. Paca Craws...in all the sizes. I just started using jigs and jig trailers this spring, after reading this forum. A few people here suggested they worked pretty good. I Had pretty good luck with too.

  9. Hi George Welcome and "come on in"
  10. Oh yea....I forgot I do have a Ultra Light spinning reel. Again it's a Shakesphere rod and reel combo from Walmart. It's 5' with a ul spinning reel spooled with 4lb mono spider wire, lots of fun with smallies. I take it out from time to time.
  11. I've only got one rod and reel I use for all my fishing, can't afford to get a rig for each set up, plus I wade fish, can't carry them all with me. It's a 6'med Quantum "tournament grade" from Walmart A Bass pro Extreme bait cast with 7.1:1 ratio, my strike zone are small, so I want to retrieve and recast as much as possible. I spooled it with 10 lb Trilene smooth casting mono. I know it is not the best for every type of fishing, crank baits, finesse, or top-waters. I have to pay close attention to how I'm presenting baits, not to crank to fast etc..I think it works pretty good. G
  12. NIce ones!!!!
  13. Paca Craws, Green Pumpkin....I like the flipper action...The small fish seem to tear of the pincers , but they sure produce the bites..wish they were more durable. Just my 2 cents G

  20. I use Booyah and Strike Kings with Net bait paca craws, but I don't know if they are as thick bodied as what you are using.

I had a pair of Costa Del Mars, I loved them, got closed in tail gate. I went to Wally World and bought a cheap pair, Foster Grants I think work pretty well but still don't rate up there to my Costa's. I wade fish a lot...Seeing in the water past the glare keeps me from tripping on a lot of things that I normally wouldn't have seen.
  22. The trick worm are supposed to be floaters...I use both of them. I like the trick used weightless and snaked alone the top, Texas rigged. The finesse I use Texas rigged, weighted and bounce a long bottom. I don't use shaky head that much, the river current wedges them between the rocks and I lose too many. They catch fish that for sure.
