I just got a worm kit from a yard sale....3 molds, couple of containers of glitter, about 2lbs of used plastic, and 4 empty bottles of dye or colorant.( I think that is what is all over everything in the box) Which is why I need some advice on how to clean the molds. Whatever is on them is black and sticky, I've tried hot water and dawn dish soap. All so where does everyone buy their supplies for this. Any tips will help, all I know about worm making is what I've have seen on the net over the last couple of days. Thanks G

I saw split rings with a pound rating that break away instead of loosing your lure when snagged. But strong enough to hold a fish, you would hope so any way. Don't know the price.

I like to tinker with my gear when the weather is bad, like now snowing real hard. I clean and lube my reel , change line, rearrange tackle box, stuff like that.

Doesn't BPS have a parts dept all so? Why throw away when you can rebuild

I do listen to other people's advise..(ie...bass resource forum) but when it comes down to it. I agree with JM, what get me the most for the money can spend.

Are you saying Pflueger and Pure fishing makes the reels for Bass Pro Shops..I didn't know that.

I heard spooling it the opposite way it came off the spool will cause problems too. I don't know first hand , always spooled it the same way it came off.

I use South Bend, they are $1.50 for 10. I loose alot of rigs, the river bootom is all rocks.
