Im with you i like the Excalibur b/c they make a barrel sinker and they are a little cheaper also.Can buy two one ounce for the price of one tru tungsten bullet one ounce. The barrel weight is awesome for a crig and i have no issues with sensitivity.. and i know many people who have ordered from that website all with good experiences

Anyone get bassmasters the last two Jan and Feb 2010 have had some cool info on Japanese lures and techniques.. the new jackal i shad looks interesting.. basically a do nothing bait amazing also to read about them fishing these lures on baitcasters and 4lb floro!! guess need to save up for a Pixy!! ;D

the new silent version also looks nice for high pressure waters.. for the money its hard to beat the strike king cranks... 3.99 for the regular is a steal put a dollar with it for good hooks and your set...Although the finishes seem to be not very durable

with only 100 bucks wait til BPS has big sale at end of month and you can probably get an extreme rod and reel for 100 bucks.. which is a steal..

sorry forget to check back on this topic.. i had an issue with the guide inserts falling out after 2 weeks.. i returned it to tackle warehouse and exchanged it for a shimao clarus which was about 15 bucks more.. the shimano isnt as flashy but i know it will be a good stick that will hold up.. These new Abus are selling on how cool they look but i do not think they are constructed to well.. The few times I fished with mine i did like it and wasnt that bad of a rod was just upset the guide inserts fell out like that

had bad luck with the vengeance series had one come apart in less then a month they did cover it on warranty though they look nice but i think you can buy a better rod at that pricepoint not one that looks nicer but what that is build better
