  1. Thanks for the kind words guys! Robert, the NIB Ito's are getting harder and harder to find. I just lucked into mine being at the right place at the right time. www.japantackle.com has some pretty nice ones from time to time, but you have to be quick to get them! On the Pixy, the best place I have found to get them is at Brooklyn Bills. http://www.brooklynbillstackleshop.com/
  2. This is still my most favorite reel in my collection! Don't have a rod for it yet, but I will soon..
  3. I have been trying to build up my collection of rods and reels here lately and I just thought I would share some pics. From left to right they are: Curado on a BPS crankin' stick Airy red Pixy on a BPS Johnny Morris rod Daiwa TDZ on a Kistler Helium LTX rod Shimano Metanium XT on a custom G Blanks rod with spiral wrapped guides Shimano Mg50 with ZPI carbon fiber handle on a Shimano Crucial rod Abu Revo SX on a Berkley Bionic rod I know there are some other tackle addicts on the board ;D Lets see your gear!
  4. ;D ;D Don't worry, I still got him by a couple of ounces!
  5. One more pic.. Good job buddy, you were due!
  6. Laine and I went out fishing this morning, and he ended up sticking his personal best. It weighted 7.2 and he caught it on a chatterbait. 8-)
  7. Here ya go! http://www.imaginationbassin.com/gblanks.htm
  8. I have used both of those reels quite a bit. I sold the Zillion, and kept the MG. Unless you just need the fast 7:1 gear ratio, I think the MG is just a nicer reel.
  9. I picked up a couple of them. I had to pay shipping on the TDZ103P, but not on the 105H. Doesn't make sense, but oh well, still a great price on a great reel!
  10. I have bought several reels from overseas. I've bought from both Japan Tackle, and Ginrin. I have always received my reels in about 3 or 4 days. They really do have fast shipping! So what kind of reel did you buy?
  11. I am on tackletour quite a bit, and I know all about the "Pixzilla!" ;D D.R. has worked on some reels for me in the past. I know you have some sweet reels, have you used a hot-rodded pixy yet? Is there a lot of difference?
  12. Well, I really wanted a reel that could cast super light baits with no problems, and I am way to manly to use a spinning reel! ;D
  13. I am seroiusly thinking about it... Next one I want is the orange one
  14. It wasn't cheap, but it sure is cool! ;D
  15. Brooklyn Bill also hooked me up on another reel I have been trying to get ahold of for awhile... 2004 edition Yellow Pixy
  16. I have been trying to find one of these TD-Itos for quite awhile. Just so happy I finally found one, I thought I would share some pics.
  17. Rod: Megabass F6-69X Super Destroyer III Reel: Daiwa TD-Ito 103M Line: Good ol' 14 pound clear blue Stren Lure: Reaction innovation Sweet Beaver in Backwater Blue color
  18. 7.12 on Chartruese chatterbait 7.6 on Yum Wooly Hawgtail a couple of 7.0's on Backwater Blue Sweet Beavers.
  19. That looks just like my wall! Except I don't have the big fish mounts or pics of me holding dozens of HUGE fish!! ;D
  20. I think the new Zillion will feel right at home on there! (Daiwa reel on a Shimano rod :-/ Hope that's not bad mojo! ;D
