  1. Chickens can be a witness to crimes, so don't kill anyone while their are chickens around... I'm serious. I only have about 30 hours logged and am only level 8 right now. I'm spending all my time exploring, smithing and collecting ingredients for making poisons (my 1 character is a Brenton Mage and my other is a Wood Elf Archer, with both I'm focusing mainly on sneak/thieving). Heck, just plain old hunting is fun in the game. I probably have killed about 100 deer and elk so far lol Check out this list of mods available so far. My favorite is Val's Crafting Meltdown... All those worthless accessories in the game (pots, pans, plates, etc...) can be melted down and used to make weapons! Finally, a reason to collect wooden plates! http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/11/25/skyrim-mods-the-20-best-so-far/ StringJam, that's an awesome looking map! Map making is a freakin' ton of work, even if you already have all the models done. I tried making an old hospital from Gears of War and I only had the basic layout done and modeled about 3 or 4 things and ran out of free time LOL Here's my old portfolio (those railings and pillars under personal work were from the map): http://nfollmer.daportfolio.com/
  2. I've been using a Diawa Crossfire from Cabela's for years now... Only cost me $40 for the combo. Probably one of the best combos I have ever used. I'd say that's pretty cheap
  3. You catch 'em or did you buy them from somewhere? I want to get some dwarf sunfish, but I can't find any around here (to catch anyway) I found some places that sell them, but you have to buy like 50 at a time.
  4. Give yourself about 10 days to just explore... then do the quests It's the little things that make this game cool.
  5. My buddy is giving me his as payment for me doing a poster for his guide service... I'd say it's a good trade haha. It's a bit tip heavy, but I love the thing. I can cast a freakin' mile with that thing, even with really light lures.
  6. I pretty much quit playing games after I finished Fallout 3... Just got Skyrim because I couldn't pass it up. Makes me wish I would have stayed in game development Maybe when the construction set comes out for the game I'll make a sweet mod and get back into it LOL
  7. Too many games at once! LOL I spent a good 2 hours today shooting salmon as they jumped up a small waterfall... And lighting people on fire... And getting hit like a golf ball by giants.

Who has it and who is addicted already? I freaking love this game and it even plays on my older crappy secondary PC.
  9. Fish at night and find the baitfish... Try anywhere along the old river channel (it's still there). You find an inside point on the river channel with baitfish and you'll be golden!
  10. Twitter is just another marketing tool for businesses. I've gotten a lot of discounts and information from twitter from brands I use. It makes sense for business and anyone wanting to get their search engine rankings higher - it's another place to have your site link out there. If you use it for what it's intended for, it works. If you use it to tell everyone what you're doing 24/7, it's dumb.
  11. Heres my take on college... If you can learn it yourself, don't waste your time. Programming, graphic design, marketing, accounting, management, etc... self teach. Obviously you can't do this if you want to be a doctor or something similar. I've learned more on my own (both working and during my own time) than I ever did in college. Heck, in one class me and a few other students practically taught the thing while the teacher tried to act like he knew his stuff... I saw him working at a pretzel stand in the mall a few months later.
  12. Nice review! Ill have to check this reel out. I have two rods sitting reel-less at the moment.
  13. Don't know if anyone else would want to try this stuff, but I figured you can't go wrong for being free... It's water based, so it might not be all that great. I'll respond back once I get some of this stuff. http://www.durathane.net/samplerequest.html
  14. Wading.... Kills your lower body! I fly fish a lot and I'm constantly moving and fighting current.
  15. Man what a deal! Thanks for posting, I'm heading to Harrisburg this weekend, I'll have to stop in to that Gander!
  16. Mike D is an editing monster... Just saying! Anyway, slone I was amazed at how fast Gillespie pumps those shows out. He works his butt off and he has one quality show! PETE GET THE NET! WHAT DO I DO PETE, WHAT DO I DO!?
  17. I just got skunked last night... But I was fishing somewhere I have never been AND I only had about 30 minutes on the water... Actually, I get skunked more with the fly rod than a do anything else. I'd say maybe 1 in 6 or 7 trips I come up empty.
  18. Love those things... Cheap and work great. Only downside is the eyes fall off too easily, just paint them on instead of dealing with the eyes. Red eyed shads are awesome too, but I find myself using the Voltage lipless cranks more.
  19. ... Or we could give him the answer and save him from googling. Anyway, another way to do this would be to get a program called Audacity. Audacity will record ANY sounds that are coming out of your speakers and turn it into an MP3. The only downside is there's no fast way of doing this, you have to listen to the whole song/audio of whatever you want to save. It's better than nothing and will get you by (good for pulling YouTube audio too). Oh, it's free too.
  20. Att is letting you either get a bill credit for the iPhone if you bought it in the last 30 days (since the price dropped yesterday) or you get exchange it for the 4S when it launches.
  21. Oh, I thought you had a 4 already. Siri looks a lot like Vlingo - which is awesome. Never touch your phone and make it do things.
  22. Apple makes technology for people who don't know technology... They even say it themselves. Not saying everyone that uses it isn't smart, but that is their target audience. You can pull out an Apple product and use it without screwing with minimal settings. Personally, I think you're a fool to upgrade now. It's an iPhone 4 with a better camera and a 'faster processor', which in this case, is dumb. The iPhone 4 is fast enough as it is, so they are fluffing their numbers to excite end users. Keep your 4, wait for iOS 5 and wait until the iPhone 5 comes out and see what they change.
  23. Awesome! Always loved watchin' Hank - very informative!
  24. Oh I can make a Wordpress site, not look like a Wordpress site, that's simple. Don't sell yourself short man, web design is complicated and worth every penny. Most people think it's easy, but until you get into PROPER coding that works seamlessly across all browsers, your putting a lot of skill into your work. Not to mention SEO optimization and all that happy stuff... I just finished two books on CSS3 and HTML5, can't wait for IE to get with the program and support them fully. You can do video and animation just with these languages - no need for flash! I'm guessing we are at least 10 years out until we can fully kill flash though, I'm still making sites that support IE6 that is roughly 35% of my traffic. I'm rambling now... Nerd...
