  1. I pitch and flip from my kayak - I'm 6'2" 250lbs. and can stand just fine. I use a shorter rod for kayak flippin'. A 6' 6" rod works best for me.
  2. Clayton - Are using a GSM provider (ATT, T-mobile?) They sometimes will triangulate your position with the towers if the GPS signal isn't great... It's usually way off if it can't pick up three towers (Then it's not triangulating HA, but can still give you a general idea of position with 2 or even 1 tower).
  3. Get an EXIF editor and strip the GPS data off the photo. If you carry a phone, you can be found. Even if you're phone is off, you can be found. Pulling the battery is the only way to cut off your coordinates.
  4. I crank with straight braid (45lb test, just because I use that rod the most), rod action is Medium Heavy, I've never lost a fish due to pulling too hard. Just have to set the hook differently. Give it a nice sweep to the side and you'll do fine.
  5. Got them all out except for Captain Obvious... You all get them? I haven't tried to send to a non gmail account, so I hope it worked.
  6. Ok guys, sending out the PM's now... Dan - It's a library YOU create, they do offer free music, but it's different stuff everyday. You can add it to your library if you want, it's actually decent stuff.
  7. Yeah you have access to your music as long as you have an Internet connection. They offer free music too, which is surprising good (actual good bands!)
  8. Sections of the Susky could handle them... Could do Erie from the Pa side... Raystown would be on the small side, but could handle it, but it's out in the middle of no where. Not ever going to happen though
  9. Anybody want a Google Music invite? I have a few to give out. Post here if you want one and then I will PM as many people as I can and send them out to you. I think I have 15 currently.
  10. All year long! I like to throw jigs with rage craw trailers. Dark colors work best for me, but that's because I fish chocolate milk lakes.
  11. Love the body shape on these (paint jobs rule too). Always cool to see something different, the fish love it too.
  12. < That's us buddy... Anyway back on track here... Wish the good old Pa Fish Commission wasn't so strict with their rules, then maybe they would come here for a tournament or two...
  13. Surprised your kayak accommodates your head...
  14. Black Mo.... Has to be it. http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/blackmoshannon.aspx
  15. I can work on my 2007 Saturn Vue no problem, now I'd rather work on my 96 Jeep Cherokee, but only because things aren't places so I have to remove other things to get to them! My first car was a 92 Chevy Lumina and to change the back 3 spark plugs I had to lift the engine, talk about work!
  16. Oh I'm not debating whether it can be done or not, but it's a heck of a lot easier with a heavier rod.
  17. Agreed I use a 6/7 and even have some trouble with bigger flies. I'd even go to an 8 or 9 if you can.
  18. Awesome! I like that better than the original!
  19. Sounds like 'My Tracks'. It's free, I use it for logging fishing trips to waters I don't know, especially fly fishing trips in the sticks. Crazy how much our phones can do now.
  20. Buggers can be worked like a streamer or dragged across the bottom to imitate I craw. Clousers - I haven't made one yet, but I think you need bucktail, dumbbell eyes and some flashabou. Flashabou is optional, but helps a lot on streamers.
  21. Nice as always... What's that last one dive to? 800 ft? What a lip!
  22. Here's one from my good buddy Juan (I didn't take this one): Here's me with my PB from the Juniata River (Just caught a few weeks ago):
  23. J that trash can really hits close to home.... They'll never get it back to the way it was before the quake.
  24. Yeap, threaten to cancel and they will give you the world.
