  1. I was only nose hooking senkos that were cut in half, but I could see where they would excel in dropshots and wacky rigs. I ordered some size 1 and 3/0, we will see how well the bigger ones do
  2. Watching it right now... At work though so I don't have the sound on, still a good watch! I'll have to review it once I get home, looks like he is talking about a lot of good stuff.
  3. I just used sickle hooks for the first time a few weeks ago and I finally decided to look into buying some. They worked great for smallmouth (especially in finesse techniques). I was constantly gut hooking fish when throwing finesse baits (like 3" worms) but didn't gut hook a single fish with the sickles. Anyone else use these hooks? I never realized you could get them in so many sizes and even on jigs!
  4. I don't why all the comments on Dolphin say it's slow, works fine for me. I love the tabs and bookmark menu/handling. Gestures are awesome too, you can customize them. I have it set so I just draw a straight line upward to bookmark a page But I digress... Edit: I just set dolphin to render the page like an iphone (change the user agent) and it works ok. Don't know how accurate that is though...
  5. Orvis.com check their clearance and they usually have alot of flies under a dollar. I get alot of flies from http://www.anglersdream.net/ check out their Blue Sky leaders, they are awesome.

  8. I should have done that and given it a chance, but I spend too much time on here and don't need another distraction
  9. Thanks! That's what I'm worried about. I tore an old lipless crank apart and I'm going to try and get the weight, hooks and line tie all in the exact same areas. I have a feeling I will have the most trouble with this lipless crank, but it will be worth it in the end I think as long as I keep the front wide and flat and the back thin, it should be ok... I hope It looks like the weight is always close to the front, on the bottom, but between the eye and the belly hook (so it will go right where the gill starts on the bottom).

Maybe if the Pats could learn to play nice then I wouldn't have that problem
  11. I did for about 10 minutes, then it got really annoying. I kept getting emails and FB messages from the thing. Looked like it would have been fun though.

Sounds like a date! Heap is more my type though
  13. I played football for 1 year... heck not even 1 year, maybe 1/4 of the season. we were taught that way too, BUT I always aimed my face for the area between the arm and chest (a little below the armpit). I felt like if I put my face mask in their chest, it would snap my neck back... I was a sissy when I played football, I was like 10
  14. Can't you switch your Iphone to Desktop/PC mode in the browser? I keep my browser (Android) on Desktop mode and I can browse just fine. When I tap on the Fishing Forums, it's like a hover over and I get the menu, then I can click from there.
  15. Ok, the more I looked at that lipless crank, the more I hated it New design, I wanted to give the front a more tight and defined face, I felt the last one was too rounded and smooth. I also used a new shader on this one (it's called Gorilla skin haha but it has nothing to do with the final lure, it's only for screenshots):
  16. I'd say the obvious ones (like Heap getting nailed on Sunday by Merriweather) should be punishable. The close calls, like DeSean's, should be left alone. People are going to get hurt, they know that, it's going to be impossible to stop.

Think you would be used to it by now. A W is a W! Go PATS! Well played sir... Touche... If the ravens wouldn't pull that conservative play crap after the first half, they woulda had it. Oh and Brady looks like a scruffy girl.

Raven's were robbed! I freakin' hate the Pats and to win by a field goal in OT doesn't count! They shouldn't allow field goals in OT...
  20. Yeah, they focused their efforts in the populated areas first, then moved out into the country. I thought you were talking about quality of service, not actually GETTING service Sorry!
  21. Could be, but that may have the reverse effect. Could have too many people in that area and not enough coverage to handle the traffic and you'll get a slowdown. Think of a cell tower like a network in a building. The cell phones are the computers and the tower is the 1 internet connection you have coming into the building. The more people you in the building using the internet, the more that 1 connection needs to split, thus slowing everyone else down. Same thing is happening with the network. You'd think the companies would have enough towers to handle the traffic, but when the cell infrastructure was first built, it was built for range, not volume. They are finally starting to work on getting more towers in heavily populated areas, but they aren't as far ahead as they should be.
  22. Yeah, if the towers are getting a lot of traffic, the speeds are going to be slower. Ping times will always be higher on a cellular device, theres almost no way around that.
  23. Do you think they are worth it? Don't answer that...
  24. Send me those files and I'll keep them safe for you... HAHA just kidding! No, but I haven't really looked into that though. I was going to suggest Vaulty HA. Forgot to add... Glenn wins! I think my phone would melt if it saw those speeds. I just ran it again and got a similar result as last time.
  25. My Cherokee is nice for towing my little 14' V bottom, but I wouldn't get one for the size of boat you're talking. It gets the job done, but you need more weight or you'll be sliding down the boat launch
