  1. Sweet! They take great pics and awesome video. No excuses now, you'll always have a camera ha That fish broke the net...
  2. Caught this giant this morning... He really stressed that 2lb. test tippet:
  3. I'll do all three until the end of the month. I think MTV and the new york stock exchange are doing a similar grant, maybe she could look into that too. I think it's called "movers and shapers"...
  4. You have to remember it's guys like bassclary that keep this place active. Yeah he posts alot but alot of his posts are legit.
  5. Nickelback is the winner... loser! Terrible music, terrible lyrics, (something in your mouth), terrible hair...
  6. Hey it took me awhile to hit 1000 and I tried to make each post meaningful... Until I started posting in the off topic threads, then it was all downhill from there! I need something to do at work!
  7. As long as it's newer wiring then yes youre correct. I have a few switches in my house that have the black (hot) and white (neutral) on the switch (technically it goes hot after it leaves the switch). Im not sure why they do it like that sometimes. I'm no electrician but my boss is (he is also my landlord ha) so I've been working on this house and he has been teaching me wiring. Look at another switch in your house to be sure, usually they are the same (usually!) Try this, it may be more clear: http://www.indepthinfo.com/wire-switch/
  8. Jay I saved my 1000th post for you buddy! Ya dirty New Yorker... I'm just kidding, Jays clean... I think? Either way Congrats on the mod position and for being my 1000th post (he will delete this and I'll be stuck at 999)
  9. Marty your right. Windows will remember the size of windows opened. Just drag the next one out to what size you want, close it and all others should open that size. See Marty you're a jr. geek
  10. Ah thanks for the explanation. Dave, I want to see the action on that lure.
  11. They aren't around anymore HA! Only 2 of the members are still in bands, both of which are just local acts. I only play for myself now, I had my time and got to play a lot of great places (all in PA though). We used to play with a local act called "The Grimm", man they were odd. They used to throw tampons, starburst and other random stuff into the crowd... Nice guys though, just... odd...
  12. I haven't been to many, but I have a few that cannot be topped. 1st - I saw Atreyu and CKY at the Crowbar (it's a small bar that used to be in State College). CKY was boring, all they did was talk, but Atreyu rocked! 2nd - Deftones, Breaking Benjamin, Cold and Dredg at the Bryce Jordan Center. Deftones played FOREVER and it was awesome. All the bands played their best that night. On a completely unrelated side note... I was in a band once and I had to quit due to my work schedule. Two weeks after I quit, they opened for Breaking Benjamin... I was a sad panda for weeks after that!
  13. That's what she said ;D Yeah, I set someone up for that one. You're not old enough to know about that stuff boy! But seriously though, I had a dremel, paid $100 for a kit close to this one... After a year, it only works on 3 speeds... I know guys that have had this grizzly one for years and it's only 33 dollars...
  14. http://www.grizzly.com/products/Rotary-Grinder-w-Tool-Shaft/H6155 Gotta love when a tool has a flexible shaft.....
  15. Great stuff. Wouldn't expect any less from you though What's the advantage to circuit board lips? I never really found a good answer to that question...
  16. "You....are..... OUUUTAAAAA HERE!"
  17. A Senko thread? Come on there isn't enough information on the Senko here!
  18. Ouch, someone is starting to use their powers for evil Another issue I have is the tubes I use have a solid head and the tube hooks don't sit in their properly.
  19. I use them as jerkbaits in spring, fall and winter but I crank them any other time of the year. Smaller ones (3 to 4 inches) make great finesse cranks A good rule to follow, the colder the water, the longer you pause between jerks. I have gone 30+ seconds in between jerks in mid winter.
  20. I toss all my tubes either texas rigged or on a weighted swimbait hook. I have used tube hooks before, but I can't find a hook that leaves enough exposed for my tastes. You know what's a pretty neat trick with a tube? Rig it weightless and backwards. The sink much slower that way and is a great finesse technique.
  21. Spot on with those colors. I'd say you did a fantastic job
  22. +2... I got stuck more than I caught anything with those hooks. I wouldn't recommend them unless you're fishing cover-less waters... Actually, I think I lost more lure with Sure Set hooks than I caught fish
  23. I love to teach people new things, so I'd love to become a guide or something similar. Maybe even some kind of instructor. I just want to learn as much as possible and give my knowledge back to as many people as I can reach... Sappy I know, but it's true
  24. Kind of off topic but what size are you using for Pike? XR12?
  25. I try and do something like this everyday. I have a rule while driving, I will let someone go before me every chance I get... I cannot stand trying to merge into traffic or make a turn! Always hold the door for people, that's just a given... I'm constantly giving older people cell phone help at work. You'd be amazed at how much people appreciate just learning simple things like adding a phone contact. Always go the extra mile! I think we should keep this thread going, no need to give us anything
