Favorite Swim Jig/Football Jig Trailers?
I just put in an order of Magician's Swim Jigs (3/8oz) and Hitman Football Jigs (1/2oz) from Black Angel Jigs. What is everyone's favorite swim jig trailer? Football jig? I was thinking Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed craws or a small Colorado blade for the swim jigs and Rage Tail or Netbait Craws/Chunks for the football jigs. Thanks for the help! P.S. They have not arrived yet, but Gabe Spencer, the owner, answered my emails promptly and was very informative.

Abu Garcias Vendetta rated better than Shimanos Cumulus!!!!
Sorry you just brought a deep sea fishing rod to a bass fishing rod war. And of course ugly stick would be rated that high. Its the best in the world for that kind of fishing. But lets see you fish a t-rig on it. The Vendetta and Cumulus are both rods for bass fishing. Capt.O That was a joke

Are Jigs Too Big For Ponds?
I fish a lot of smaller ponds, but would like to learn to better fish a jig. Would a 1/2 ounce football jig or something similar in size be too large for these small ponds? Thanks for the help! -Broc

Shakey Head With Big Hooks
I was thinking heavier weights with the big hooks for fishing deep with big worms instead of a texas rig.

Shakey Head With Big Hooks
This summer, I was thinking of throwing a Mann's Jelly Worm on a shakey head instead of a Texas Rig for deeper waters. Does anyone know of a company that makes shakey heads with maybe 5/0-7/0 hooks. I would also prefer a screwlock for the worm. Thanks for the help!

lamiglas excel vs. wright mcgill skeet reese
My buddy Torsten (tor329 on here) bought the Skeet 7' Spinnerbait/Worm rod, and while i never actually fished it, it felt extremely soft when i held it. It might be good for lighter spinnerbaits but I don't think I would use it for throwing plastics (except maybe weightless plastics). It almost seemed more like a crankbait rod to me. I am interested to hear about the Excel though because I am seriously considering ordering one from TW. Thanks for the post. -Broc

Hook Sets
are awesome. I haven't been throwing soft plastics much lately, opting for spinnerbaits and wakebaits mostly. While I set the hook with those, it is not quite the same. Today I caught one on a senko, and when that line goes sideways and you cross that fish's eyes, there is nothing like it. To me, it is the best feeling in fishing.

$100 towards a new reel
I'm ready to be chastised here. I hate my citica. I would go with the BPS Pro Qualifier or the Revo S if I was you. The Citica does not cast well for me and changing the brake is a pain. I might be the only person on this site who does not like the Citica though, so there is a pretty good chance you'll enjoy it. It is just not for me.

Soft Plastics Rod Under $100
I am looking for a decent trigger rod for soft plastics (senkos, trick worms, creature baits, etc.) around $100. I probably won't be throwing anything over 1/2oz. I bought a Mojo Spinnerbait rod hoping to use it as an all around rod, but it is not sensitive at all and I have been losing a lot of fish on it. Any suggestions?
