  1. How do you know it has anything to do with the rod? What frogs are you using, what line? are you waiting until you actually feel the weight of that fish? Is it possible you are pulling that frog away from that bass before hes actually hooked up? Many possibilities
  2. Terminator T-1. Case closed
  3. Terminator T-1 hands down. No tuning no bent up wire..great stuff. Check them out, worth every penny.
  4. I like Owner J's for T-Rig,Mosquitoes in 2/0 for Wacky, also they do make a hook specifically for "Wacky"..I have them, but haven't tried em yet. For drop Shotting I have been using Standout Hooks,,and have had good results..but I would use a Mosquito for that also in 2/0,not the tiny hooks that alot of guys use. Maybe because I don't use skinny sissy fishing baits. Zoom SUper Fluke is one of my favorite Dropshot baits.
  5. DEFINITELY "NOT" a gimmick! Works extremely well, stops the worm from getting easily ripped off. Owner makes excellent stuff.
  6. Anyone know a good guide for this place?
  7. Not all Lucky Craft stuff is great. Pointers and Sammy's are the ones I think are great. I have seen guys say X-Raps are just as good, but they are not. X-Raps have a problem with the ball getting stuck in the tail section causing it to stand vertically in the water. The average fisherman doesnt know this.. once I found this out, I sold all my X-Raps. Japanese stuff is high quality..they take Bass fishing extremely seriously.
  8. A standard $2.99 Scum Frog is just fine. Very soft body, collapses easily,,hardly ever miss with them.
  9. Awesome fish,,but that Smallie in the avatar excites me even more! I gotta ask,,what did that beast weight?
  10. My experience is that they will readily hit anything you throw, from topwaters to bottom crawlers and everything in between. If I had to pick one lure it would probably be a spinnerbait by a small margin. They are fun to catch and fight better than largemouth, in my opinion. I agree on all points made here
  11. Nothing rivals it for less money.
  12. Aurora Black Chartreuse Shad Ghost Minnow
  13. There is no best for everyone. I personally do not like Power Pro,but its the most popular. Ive been using Spiderwire Invisibraid, for the last 2 seasons and see no reason to look further. The Invisibraid runs a bit thicker than Power pro so I use 30lb on my baitcasters instead of 50,but 50 is the right size to use. Yes, you need backing, but just a foot of it is fine, just to stop the braid from slipping. For every brand of braid, you will find as many people who dislike it,as do like it. All personal preference.
  14. Whats wrong with a Terminator T-1?
  15. Probably,,it's a super bait.all I use.
