  1. That was a steal! Would love to find a deal like that for a 1000FJ.
  2. Welcome aboard!
  3. Welcome aboard!
  4. I've decided I no longer like you guys....
  5. Big baits = big bass (ALL the time!) LOL, <ducks head and runs for cover>
  6. Did not resolve issue for me. Safari also displays same issue. All caches flushed, all browsers restarted. Something else at issue here. Only the notifications icon that's not behaving properly.... Perhaps coinciding with restoration of Member Map?
  7. It's okay, brother. Give in, you'll thank us later.
  8. Similar behavior for me with Google Chrome.
  9. Nice fish.
  10. For fresh water, probably a bass I hooked a few years back. Heard a splash behind me, turned and saw where a bass had attacked a school of shad. Threw a Senko there and BANG!! Unfortunately I never saw her as she was such a fighter and kept my rod bent, line taught then SNAP, it pulled so hard my 10 lb (new) Yo-Zuri Hybrid leader just snapped.
  11. I see two different 10' options - they offer a 2 piece 10-foot system, or a single piece. At least it is single as far as I can tell... it doesn't say "2 piece" as it does in the other model.
  12. Also could buy a golf ball retriever as some have done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuHB6QgxE2I&feature=youtube_gdata_player Not sure it would be strong enough for a 17' aluminum boat, though. I've got a 7' Stick It anchor pin for my yak and love it. Same material used in Power Poles. The idea of buying a fiberglass pole on the cheap is a good idea, as well.
  13. Talk you in to one? Here goes: Because if you don't buy one, you will always wonder if you should have bought one. Especially with those of us who have one or two of 'em constantly talk about how we love them!! If you don't like it, plenty out there who'll buy it off ya!
  14. Welcome back!! Glad you're ok. And yes, must be a 10 pounder waiting for ya.
  15. Got several silver dollars in my stash. Can't remember where, might've been a zoo or something where you got dollar coins from the change machines...
  16. But your opinion of what is the best may not be that of others... What if Yo-Zuri is the best that someone has found? That Tatsu is "the best" is subjective. RW said it's the finest he's used, others agree, others don't. RW has stated P-Line Floroclear is one of the worst lines he's ever used. I, others have a completely different experience and opinion. Yo-Zuri and P-line have been fantastic for me. Lost very few fish on them. Don't feel like I put "corner tires" on my 50e or Stradic combos...
  17. You don't *need* the line... Yo-Zuri is fantastic for most everything you throw. Some folks still catch plenty of bass on mono... I've got some fluorocarbon line - XPS - and I will use it, but nowhere near as frequent as Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
  18. Welcome aboard!
  19. Yellow perch. Almost every time, LOL.
  20. Whelp... Same as every year for the past who knows how many... Wacky rig. Followed by a jig.
  21. Regular Power Pro in 10 and 20 pound tests, yellow. Why? Well, I've tried a number of brands and kept returning to PP. Not that there aren't smoother lines out there, or perhaps stronger...just that I am very comfortable with what to expect out of the line. Plus, braid is expensive, which is one reason why I decided to stick with it...
  22. Darren. replied to Jay Marx's topic in Introductions
    Hi Jay, welcome aboard!
