Welcome aboard, Michael! I'm not a big crankbait guy, but for baitcasters I like 'em fast. I just reel slower for stuff that needs a slower cadence. Yeah, not necessarily the best, but hey, whatevs. Just don't overthink things....

My experience is with Stradics, and I absolutely love my CI4+ 1000 (I use 1000 size for bass). If money were no object today, without a doubt I'd pick up an LT reel. I like the feel of LT models (hands-on in-store), have always liked Daiwa's bail wire better. I enjoyed my Lexa before I gave it to one of my boys. So bottom line, IMO, take your pick.

Welcome aboard! Interesting the sticker thing mentioned. Have had my eye on a BG for inshore fishing. Do try @Delaware Valley Tackle, he's got a great rep here. I'll be sending him some of my reels, hopefully soon.

As of late yesterday, or was it early this AM of 2020 I noticed the Condensed view of New Content is no longer working for me. Anyone else seeing this? Have tested on Chrome and Firefox, "broken" on both.
