Saturday's rains here at our house took over 24 hours to soak into the ground.... The GFS's latest is still worst case for my area, and hopefully Wxrisk and others predicting the GFS is bonkers turns out right. The 2pm GFS ensemble has it hitting OBX, then slowly turning back to the Atlantic, then back to OBX and up to VA Beach (SE VA) churning around for a wee day or two.
