  1. I have a 16 ft. tin boat and I opted for a new trailer that came from the factory with a swing away tongue. You can have a buddy cut and weld the swing away bracket for you but there is a bit of "piece of mind" about a factory trailer. It takes a little more time to get it together in the morning but the bottom line is, it now fit's in my garage.
  2. I like the notch. In my mind, it helps in the sensitivity department.
  3. Make's sense. Thank you.
  4. It seems that I do not have a "PM" thingie. Maybe I set something up wrong in my account. Any help? Thanks.
  5. Tightening the screw will help but steering will be a bit tighter also.
  6. I got a Avid from the "bargin cave" at my local Cabela's and it is part of my "A" team now.
  7. Good reel but a real "tank" weight wise.
  8. I must be doing something wrong. I used "large" and the other four settings, 15" screen, Med., Small, and Tiny, and did not help. When I transfered them over they were still to big. "HELP".
  9. Ok, I took some pictures with my Kodak EasyShare 713 camera then loaded them on to Kodak EasyShare software, then moved them to Photobucket. I used Photobucket and I was able to move a picture to a post to be included with my message but the whole thing, picture and post, was too large. You would of have to use the side and bottom slider bars to move the post from left to right and up and down. It seems I need to shrink the whole post to view it properly. Where do I start? Need help.
  10. So, what's your guest as to how many dude's (or dude'et's) where there?
  11. Sorry, I can not imagine asking someone to send me over $100.00 and and I will send you a "mystery something". You figure what it costs to make it and also a profit and put it out there.
  12. X5 on the President. Very nice reel. Go to the tackle shop and put one on a rod. If it feels like the ticket, take it home. Just remember that a reel will feel different on different rods.
  13. The XT is nice and light, and smooth. Worth the bucks.
  14. x3 Good people to deal with.
  15. Thanks for the info. I will be buying a new TM in the spring. I was looking at the Edge, but not now.
  16. "Good" ? There really isn't one. If you could save another $50.00, now you are in "Good" territory.
  17. Good information Rhino. I will try your suggestions. I can e-mail pictures but just can not figure out how to put them in a post. Thank you.
  18. I looked at one at Cabela's and it just felt like, well, I won't call it cheap but let's say an inexpensive Shimano product. It just had that disposable feeling. Add a few bucks and get the Citica. I think the Citica is twice the reel for less than twice the price. That's an in-store evaluation only. No, the reel did not follow me home. I will let that evaluation for someone else.
  19. I tried a rat's *** and I still prefer my * with my ** coming in as my backup reel to my *.
  20. I'm close to pulling the trigger on the Patriarch XT. Have you had more time on the water with it? Do you still give the edge to the Core? Would you say the XT is a more versatile reel than the Core? Thanks for the input.
  21. Let us know when you put a full day on the water with the XT. Usually $200.00 is my max for a reel, but I may have to make an exception on this one. I have been fishing cent. brake reels and this would be my first dual brake reel. Thanks for the update and keep the info coming.
  22. Returned reel to BPS. No problem. Store credit. Thanks for everyone's input.
  23. Fantastic reels for 100 bucks. When they're on sale it's a spectacular deal. Have you had your hands on a BPS Carbonlite baitcaster yet? It looks like the PQ gone lite.
