Lake Walk in Water
If they cant figure it out contact Mercury Marine Customer service and complain, I just talked to a guy that fishes with us in southpascobassmasters and he owns c.c. marine and he said that he very rarely runs into any problems with those motors and to call customer service and see what they can do for you, push for a new motor if the problem persists and nothing is found wrong.

They are wrong Sta-Bill ethanol treatment is fairly new and you can get it at NAPA, if that doesnt help try Sea Foam otherwise take it somewhere else and let them look at it

Sta-bil Ethenol treatment; buy it and use it with every tank and it will help. What is wrong with your boat?

It will be very hard to be sponsored so early but my advise for now is build a relationship with your local tackle shop and they over time will help you but until you establish yourself as a good tournament fisherman that will be able to promte the product your using it will be hard.

Lake Walk in Water
Have fun but I think the water temp still need to come up for it to really get hot. let me know how you do I know its getting real good on the coast with the Ratt L Trap as the water temp keeps rising but this danm cold front just rolled through and the low in the 30's all week aint gunna help.

If you really want it bad enough than yes its worth it. I was driving an hour to my club but they recently moved closer and it was worth it. Most clubs only have meetings once a month so my advice is check it out, and you don't have to be a boater right away, go as a non boater for a couple tourney's untill you get the hang of it plus it is cheaper.

Bud Shootout
:ois it just me or is everybody excited about them easing up on the rules this season. Beating and banging, pissy drivers, with no fines, oh yeah baby Go Gordon down winy Stewart and crybaby JR and I say that as all nascar drivers are winy except for Elliot and Martin but I just cant stand those 2

Boat size: 18' 8" vs 20'
and I have been on a 21' boat that has done the same to me, but the diffence is 1-3 ft and 2-4 ft waves and it depends on the manufacturer for beam, I was off by 2" at Stratos 201 is 95" and a 285 is 91" that is a big difference but like I said it is just my opinion.

oh yeah and if you manage to hook a blue Plano tacklebox overflowing with new tackle gimmie a call haha

Lake Walk in Water
depending on what ramp you use at Walk-in-Water be carefull the county ramp is VERY shallow for about 10 yards by the dock but after that you will be fine also Rattletraps around hydrilla is killer there if the water temp is high enough like around 65+

go to there meeting and meet the members and if you feel comfortable join if not try another club, where do you live, what state and county

Boat size: 18' 8" vs 20'
16 inches is a huge difference, for one a 7'9 rod wont fit on an 18'8 unless the new boats have changed that plus they are at least 6" wider. Also size of the lake doesn't matter for rough water, one of the roughest lakes ive ever fished is lake Waln-in-Water and it is a fairly small lake so that all depends on protection around the lake. If you can afford it the 20 makes a huge diff. I fished with a guy on Okeechobee with a 2004 ranger 18'8 and felt like my kidneys were going to explode and I own a 1998 Sratos 20' and the difference is unbelievable in my opinion.
