  1. well i really got into fishing right when i got back from Nam... Hahahaha Ive been into just any fishing since i was 3 or 4, but i didnt start becoming a bassaholic till i was 10 8-)
  2. That might have been due to the fact that they were your "pets" and were in a glass tank without much choice. They were in a pond thank u . And i dont think the yum dancin eel is supposed to actually resemble a tadpole. Ive had 3 of them and they all looked very yummy to me. I caught probably 3 on them, never used them that much.went down with my tacklebox
  3. wow cant believe he kept those big girls
  4. last summer we had a heat wave come in.High was 105. Me and my dad went late in the afternoon at 5 to new melones and the water was all churned up from all the wake board boats etc. Fished a stretch that was all muddied up caught a few dinks at first throwing red eye shads. Then it was freakin on. In about 15 or 20 min we caught 11 good 2 to 2 and half pounders on that stretch alone, having several come off. We actualy caught a good number of largmouths, which was pretty cool because sometimes all u can catch out of there is spots. After that, we buzzed all around, actualy caught some on topwater. Stayed till 9 and just caught a bunch on roboworms. ;D so going late in the day on heatwave days can have GREAT results
  5. Hahaha ya weve squeezed the life out of craigslist. We just found an awesome ranger on bass boat outlet that we're thinkin about taking a looksy at. Thanks for your effort on helping
  6. Ive had some pet bass and one time i caught some tadpoles and brought them home and right when i threw them in they were gobbled up with no hesitation
  7. hahahahahahaah omg that laugh cracked me up ;D
  8. Haha ya they do.Pretty much eat anything that moves
  9. Hey we just sold our boat because we want a full on bass boat. Do any of you in California have any boats for sale?Or know of any?Basscats,tritons,rangers,nitros....Must have a mercury lol. Please PM me if you have something in mind. Or just post on here
  10. Dude. U call that punishment lol. Im starting frosh football these year, and some inelligible kids skrewed around. He made us run a lap and he decided wed just pace ourselves so he made us get in our 3.0 stances and hold it and then wed have to sprint 10 yards and when we got to the 10 yard mark we had to drop and turn around right away and get back in the 3.0 stances and repeat over and over. If one kid was too slow or took too long to get back in the stance, that time didnt count. We had to do 10 of those, but so many kids skrewed up we ended up doing around 20. And after that he made us sprint 100 yards, run backwards 100 yards, and then bearcrawl 100 yards on the hot turf. And one kid took too much rest on his bearcrawls so we had to sprint 100 yards, runbackwards 100 yards, and bear crawl 100 yards AGAIN. And thats at 85 degrees with no pads on and that waas HORRIBLE. And this is freshman ball too. We ran a mile before that too which isnt very bad but it didnt help
  11. My football conditioning ended wednsday. Ha wasnt hard. But it wasnt practice. We just did play practice and ran a mile everyday. No pads. We got out pads but we dont use them till school starts. Then we're gonna die. We got punished once this summer and it was so bad omg. Our towns football is especialy hard because our town has one of the best highschool football teams. Its one of our towns biggest passions
  12. Just sayin at and t sucks
  13. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!I FEEL SO ALIIIIVE!FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!
  14. Pontoon boats never bug us. Its usualy jetskiers, but they're not that bad most of the time, sometimes fisherman with horrible ethics, AND WAKEBOARDERS ARE THE WORST OVER HERE.Hey we're cool 18 to 20 year old studs with 6 packs and we get to drive our daddys boat and drive as close and as many times around fisherman as we can and listen to music quietly until we get close to them and crank it up all the way to show them how cool we are and when we pass them turn it back down. And on the delta its the worst mix of wakeboard boats and those 40 foot gigantic drag race boats. They throw wakes like no other
  15. Please come now, i think im falliiing holding onto all i think is saafe. It seems i found the road to nowhere, and im trying to escaape. I yelled back when i heard thunder! But im down to one last breath And with it let me say,let me saaaay Hold me now,im 6 feet from the edge and im thinkin....that maybe 6 feet...aint so far doooown
  16. Yea i can tell u have a fun sense of imagination lol I am fun to be with I am just really old fashioned. Life to me is that every day is a gift it is what it is day to day and nothing you or I do can stop the inevitable. It's what we do with the time in between that really counts and to me that's all that matters. My most favorite thing to do is fish with my family. My next favorite thing is cooking and camping while drinking a lot of cold long neck bud's. My favorite game to play...and I know I'm gonna get ripped for this one...is CORNHOLE there I said it and its not what your thinking for those of you who have no idea what this game is LOL. As for my fun sense of imagination you really should have a chat with my wife about that one!!! HA HA!!! Haha superstitions may not be true and it might all be in your head but as long as it keeps your conifidence and spirits up then it actualy is working for you
  17. pull a roland martin and hold the fish up till its almost touching the lens for the bigger effect hahaha
  18. Haha i only jam on the way to where we're going. If you had it playing on a stereo, the sounds would go through the boat most likely if the stereo was set on the boat or built into the boat, and that would probably have some negative effect on close fish. But an ipod would be fine. And sounds can hardly pierce through the surface of the water. Its almost like a shield. So if you're yelling and there's a bass swimming, it most likely won't do anything to it. But if u fall or make loud clumsy steps on a boat and stuff, it gets transmitted through the boat and through the water
  19. Yea they're threadfin. We keep schoolie stripers sometimes and while cleaning one onetime i found a pretty big one inside its stomach
  20. 5 lbs is the weight where u can start calling a bass big. We get one probably every hand full of trips to the delta. We don't really try and use bigger baits to get big bass. I think weve got more 6 to 8s out of the delta so far than 5s.weve lost a lot of 5s. The people over here who know the delta like their backyard catch big bass all the time.
  21. Bogo grips are awesome and work great for fish 2 lbs and up, and are good when you're catching fish on hooky lures like crankbaits and spooks, but your right i wouldnt recommend them for smaller fish because they tend to thrash and have less tissue. Ive had it go through their lip because they kept a shakin
  22. smack em on something and stun them and throw them back so they can attract eagles and ospreys or eat em. Don't get me wrong, i like spots and all, but they took over our lakes and its hard to catch good fish sometimes because the spots are so bad that theyre over populated and theyre all like 7 inches to a pound. I mean youll catch a good number of good ones too, but that usualy just happens on certain days with us. They're fun, aggressive, and they fight really well, and they also come up sooner than largemouth do after winter so you can start fishing faster lures earlier cause u can just catch those to keep you saytisfied, but we need to thin their numbers over here. And theyre the WORST when you lip them because they thrash and thrash sometimes. Thats why u gotta be quick and stick it to em with the thumb . Eh i don't really care i fish the delta a lot more anyway than our lakes
  23. Yea i can tell u have a fun sense of imagination lol
  24. Ha im sure they weigh more than 4 to 5 ozs. It looks good to me in the pool lol
  25. Haha yea i did get a spro bbz thats like 4 or 5 inchs and a lot smaller for 25 bucks. Ive worked them in my pool and they look fine to me. But oh well theyre usualy like 30 or 40 bucks at save mart and i saw them on sale lol. Maube it just cause they were at savemart theyre usualy so expensive. Ha
