  1. You have a 47 foot deep pond?lol. But if their teeth are worn down a bit like not spiky and their lips are red, usualy that means theyve been eating crawdads
  2. Yea u can just make sure its not a garmin lol weve had those and theyre TERRIBLE. Basically the only thing u get out of them is depth and water temperature. Actualy, the higher up ones do work pretty well...its just far from HumminBird 15 inch screen Switchfire radar with side imaging and down imaging and gps and weathersmart....hahahaha
  3. He had quite a career this year
  4. :-? what does this have to do with a Yammie SHO? 14 year olds get a lot of brain farts. Hahahahaha just saw the sponsor on the left side of the page and it inspired me to say something
  5. Not all roads are paved. Not all toys are small. Not all trucks come with over 390 horsepower and get 20 miles per gallon. But then again....not all trucks....are a RAM. The all new Ram 1500.
  6. But think about it roland was like 20 years older than kevin and he got 9 aoys. Kevins already got 6
  7. He definatley does not top jordan. He tops everyone.Hes is his mid 40s dude and hes already out preformed every bass fisherman in history. He hasnt even peaked yet not even close. 3 bassmaster classics, 6 AOYs,over 17 tournaments,a bunch of top 10 and top 5 finishes, and top 20s.He is the man
  8. i thought skeet reese already won it?
  9. Ugh the triton got sold lol danget we have friends that are visiting in bakersfield where it was at and they were gonna check it this weekend for us
  10. I am guessing the bite was tough. Fish should have been fairly deep for the most part. The last couple days they were chasing flukes but theyd just nudge them or turn away.Seemed like spawning behavior cause it looked like they were just trying to chase the bait away. We only had them chase flukes on gravel banks, which most likely meant they were involved with spawning. We did have a couple eat them, just couldnt hook up In a 12 hour night tournament I pulled one top water fish at 6 am. Nice.Last year i had some slammin frog bites just couldnt hook up lol
  11. See my avatar. Thats the hardest fighting pound for pound fish swimming. I've caught a ridiculous amount of different species of fish. There is nothing that fights as hard as a Peacock does for it's size. I've heard Smallies are close. I intend to find out about that one of these days. Are you smoking crack? No way in heck does a P'**** out fight a Bonita or many other fish pound for pound. LMB, yes. But not nearly half as many saltwater game fish. Bass'n knows what he is talking about ! To each their own on which fights the best, many opinions are based on the species located in your area. As far as challenge goes and Bass'n would agree, fishing inshore from the beach can be quite challenging, you are not assured you will even get a strike after hours of casting, but I do like the reward when I score. As in any type of fishing, one must be aware of the nuances of your target species and how to " hunt" fish. Stripers are also a saltwater fish they can both waters so it counts for both haha

Anything with a forked tail fights ridiclously...like a striper

Nooooo i know peacocks are very aggressive and fight very hard but nothing beats a striper pound for pound. Ive had a 1 pounder take little strips of drag off of one of my baitcasters.Theyre the strongest fish that swims
  14. Oh by the way anyone know any good sites to find bass boats?have to be within 5 hours of us cause we dont wanna drive that far and look at a boat and find out we dont like it. But i use Craigslist, westernbass, boat trader, bass boat outlet, boat boss...Any other ones?thanks
  15. U sure just low 60s?Cause we had a ranger fish n ski with big windows with more wind resistance and its hull wasnt really designed for speed as much as a full on bass boat and it had 150 horsepower and it could hit like 59 i think Yes, low to mid 60's w/ a gps verifying that not the speedo. Even though it is not one of the x series boats it's still a 200 on a heavy 20 foot boat. Now if you are running it with only one person, no gear, and half a tank of gas or less you might see upper 67-70 mph. But under normal fishing conditions with your gear, your partners gear, etc. It will be closer to 60-63 maybe 64. Well thats still pretty fast
  16. To be honest I never met a bass fisherman that wasn't a wuss, bass fishing is fun if you don't have anything better to do. You did well to land the fish, most couldn't because they don't know how to, you can't drag a pelagic species like you do a bass. I'll take saltwater any day of the week. Id like to try red fishing it looks like the only thing that would be as fun as bass fishing in salt water. Oh and tarpon like the juvinile ones that looks like a blast especialy on a fly rod. But things like snook no. Snook dont even look like they fight worth crap.Bass fishing DOMINATES all. Oh and so do stripers. Hardest fighting fish pound for pound out there
