I've been looking at these as well. I don't think I'll care too much for yak fishing but I need something to get me on the water and something I can store here in the city. $1250 with a paddle and rudder included seems like quite the deal. I thought about trying to find something to motorize since I have already have an electric motor but it seems like that could also be a pain and require a lot of mods. Would love to hear any reviews on these.

Yup that's the one. There is a little parking area off of Hooes Rd. The trail goes to the d**n area (according to google maps). I'll be sure to report back but like most overcrowded NOVA ponds, I'm not expecting much, haha.

May have to go try walking around Lake Mercer this weekend. Never been there and not much for shore fishing anymore but I need to wet a dang line! The dam appears to be easily accessible by trail. Is the rest of the lake fairly easy to walk?

If I'm going out on the big boat, I usually bring around 15 rods. I rarely touch all of them but I do challenge myself to catch a bass on at least 7-8 different rods (that means 7-8 different baits).

When I'm just taking a single bag fishing (co-angler or boat rental), this is what I do for my hardbaits. Granted there aren't any deep divers in there (because it's spring) I still got right around 50 baits in there.

I really wanted to try the 100 size platform but was skeptical of the regular Tat 100 due to the price, reviews, and quailty of the original Tat CT (figured the 100 would be like it). I also wanted the deeper spool and big handle. The color is the icing on the cake!
