El Dorado Park in Long Beach
i went today with my brother and cousins fishing at the paddle boat lake. Very cloudy and windy today but it was fun though. i caught a one pounder on a war eagle in chartreuse and white spinner bait while my brother caught a 3 pounder on a chartreuses boyahh spinnerbait and a 2 punder on a white pointer. my cousin on the other hand got the skunk while the other one missed one on a war eagle spinnerbait in white. so i guess that spinnerbait and suspended jerkbaits are the best lures for now.

need help with lake
Hi, my brother and i have been fishing at a local lake near us and we have been killing the bass at the lake with jerkbaits and worms. At the lake some green slimy moss have been growing on the ground. We have been throwing worms and jerkbait but we cant get any bite on these baits. What should we do now?

Pinnacle Swimbait rod review
This review may sound weird, but this is my first one and i am still a beginner in bass fishing so i don't really know that much but i will try to do my best. I went fishing yesterday just to test out this rod at a local lake. I pair this swimbait rod with a Shimano Cardiff 300a with 25lb test Trilene Big Game line and also a Shimano Citica 201e with a 12lb test Yo-Zuri Hybrid line. While using the Cardiff, I was throwing a Huddleston Deluxe 6" Trout and also a 3:16 8" Mission Fish. I was able to cast the two baits easier and farther with this rod. While using the Citica, i was throwing out 3" Basstrix paddletail, 4.5" H20 xpress swimbaits, and also a Spro bbz 4" floating shad. I cast easier with the rod, but the one problem was the handle because it was too long so i couldn't jerk the baits that good. But overall it was a really good rod.

Pinnacle Swimbait rod review
Hey guys, i got my swimbait rod today. Anyways my first impressions of this rod is its weight. It's very very light compared to my brother's rods and pretty well balanced. I see that it's for flipping, frogs, and swimbaits. Anyways I don't like the telescoping part but I see it's made for several purposes. Anyways my brother and I are planning on solely using swimbaits on this rod from small spro bbz1 swimbaits up to the big 8" huddlestons and others. We will try to pair it up with as many different combinations and lines as possible to get a thorough review of this rod. Until then....

need fishing tips
thnx for the tips. i am fishing from shore. I have read lots of articles on this site from using jigs to spinnerbaits and such. But reading and actually fishing are two different things. So how can I improve my fishing? Are their other ways to do something different that would attract bass better? let me know alright
