Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
i figured that the rubbermaid would also be big enough for a cooler. and in the situation your in with everything sliding, bungee cords will become your bestfriend haha im fortunate enough to have a golf car at our place so i drive down and pick everything besides the boat up and then i come back for the boat.

Need Some Help With 2 Stroke Outboard
we have a 200hp yamaha 2 stroke. im not sure if you can idle it or not, but try idling it at a high rpm for a while, just to get the oil and gas through the system to kind of flush it i guess

Can I melt -re-use old worms???
I pour the plaster into an Altoids tin or other appropiately sizer container. Take whatever jig trailer you want to copy and push it into the plaster until it's flush with the surface, let the plaster dry thoroughly and (carefully) remove the trailer from the plaster. Tom ohhhh! i always put the plaster over the lure! : dang, that makes so much more sense, thanks!

nose hooking flukes
for some reason, when i fish the fluke as a jerk bait, it seems to curve to one side no matter if the hook is straight and is rigged weightless t-rig or nose hook.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
of course, the dolly arms are a bit wide, but we will adjust that when we get down to virginia to my boat. they are supposed to go in the middle of the two pontoons. the following is one more pic of the boat mod.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
here are the mods i made. i used a plastic storage box for more room, and a lid so i could keep the rain and sun off of it. my dad also made a little dolly for me, its really easy and simple. he put bolts and such in it so its collapsible and he made it in about 15- 20 minutes.

Double Texas Rig Is Here People.
the second weight takes the action away from the first worm. i dont think this would work.
-
Buzzbait strikes ?
the strikes i get on buzz baits are subtle ones when the bass barely breaks the surface and takes the lure under.
-
Shakey Head?
awesome! i will need to try this sometime!
-
Shakey Head?
thanks man, great tip!!

So with the help from fellow members...
the only problem i can think of is the booyah buzzbaits. all of their buzzbaits come with clackers i think, im not a fan of them. i've never caught a bass with a buzzbait w/ clacker, only plain buzzbaits.
-
Shakey Head?
oh no, that made perfect sense, thank you!

OH BOY do I love the splitshot rig!!!
how do you fish that kind of rig?

smith mountain lake!
early morning up till about 10:30 on an overcast to partially sunny day, the topwater bite is on around docks and along rip-rap leading to deep water and such. i've seen guys fish the shoreline with flukes in the morning and catch bass. make sue you hit the shallow points in the morning and evening though. good luck!
