  1. I'm no expert but That doesn't look like a brook trout to me either.
  2. Hip dysplasia sucks.. I don't know how much longer she has, but she will be missed dearly.
  3. That's not a black bass. It's just a HAWG!!!
  4. Now tell us all you did it in photoshop so we can sleep tonight...
  5. And you posted this thread vouching for them, and helping them gain more customer base! Not only good customer service SMART customer service.
  6. Another vote to stick a Citica on that Compre!
  7. Curado's are NOT cheaply made reels. They are IMO the best reel under 200$, and heck they are readily available for under 140$! Their wouldn't be this many people backing a "cheap" reel.
  8. Its fine to tighten your drag fairly tight. Now when your finished fishing back the drag off again, or during one of those cold Va nights your drag washer's will crack. Are you using braid with no mono backing?
  9. Manns baby minus 1, Northstar Jig Allimony rage craw trailer.
  10. That's right I work at tackle express we do not take reels out to Wayne, but he will meet you somewhere to pick it up. Just give him a call I just met up with him yesterday to pick up some reels. Great guy and he does great work 804-239-6751. Tell him AJ sent you not Sam
  11. Buy a reel that's going to last.... Shimano curado or citica are good starting points. Buy the best reel you can afford it will make your trips alot more enjoyable.
  12. Compres are great rods I have a 610 MHF, and it's an excellent stick
  13. Thats awesome! Congrats to both of you!
  14. Big-O you never cease to amaze me another giant bass! Awesome!!!
  15. I was asked by a neighbor to come out to a local boy scout meeting, and give a little seminar on fishing. I went out today to the local reservoir with the kids, and let me tell you I think I had more fun than them! Watching them snag the little bluegills and get filled with joy was downright awesome! I did make a few cast myself, and this guy ate a northstar jig with a rage chunk trailer. The kids were so excited to see a BIG fish lol. It felt downright awesome to see the young kids get HOOKED on fishing.
  16. Just posted a similar topic in general for my 1000th post. Gotta love the guys at bassresource!
  17. I just found it ironic after the rant about correct grammar and usage. I do believe that cell phones are one of MANY things contributing to the overall atrophy of today’s youth. To make things fair this is coming from a young un' with much to learn. The thing that really kills me is how kids my age think they are the best drivers after 2 years experience. The best angler after sticking one 8lb bass. The best mechanic after changing the oil once. ect. I understand that I have much to learn, and that’s the reason I love posting on this forum you guys help me learn A TON.
  18. Speaking for the younger generation, myself included would greatly miss these handy little devices. Don't think it would be catostrophic if they were no longer available, but it may cause some serious sadness to many at first. I don't mess with my phone while fishing, and driving, but in school I'd say 75% of the kids are on their cellphones during instruction. Not that this is right in any way shape or form but physics class sure does go by ALOT faster
  19. Usually don't go much lighter than a weightless fluke. But when in a bind, and with only one combo I've been known to go alittle lighter....
  20. Not looking forward to finals next year.... That kid looks like he just took 4 vyvans and drank 10 cups of coffee
  21. Guess I'll be the oddball here, I came from a droid and absolutely love my iPhone. The screen is incredible, navigation on the web is far superior, and the camera is downright awesome. The indicator light wasn't a big deal to me. I thought the touch screen was hard to type on at first, but now I'm much faster on it than I was on the droids slide up keypad. I Think you may end up really liking it it grew on me fast. Happily typed on my iPhone
  22. Sam Da Man thats your new nickname!
  23. Lund Explorer you hit the nail on the head! +1
