  1. Iv'e only caught one decent one out there so far this year 3.5#. But last year there was a 5# mixed in every once in a while. It's not the best fishery in the world but it has some dececnt fish in it, and it's close to home.
  2. Another VA guy!!! Welcome
  3. I haven't been in over 2 weeks, but last year at this time according to my log they were bitting good. Go out there and let us know how you do!!!!
  4. Tru-tungsten Mad Maxx or a paddle feet scum frog
  5. During the summer park at the top and wait. The park Ranger is usually there by 7:30ish. I'm killing em' on the frog till 9:30ish give or take. Also get a pass if you plan on fishing it a lot. This is my 3rd year with one and it saves you a lot of money in the long run. Good luck!
  6. I'm AJ haha, and You know color depends on water clarity time of day ect. No color is magic for me out there. Also it's more like 30 minutes to the dam, which really isn't long. I hope you never have to fish Diascund if you think that is a long haul
  7. Yes swivels IMO are not the best choice for braid to floro leaders
  8. Right side near the dam watch your depth finder pads early in the morning with a weightless fluke or a frog is killer. shaky heads do alot of damage as well regardless it can be really tuff alot of the time
  9. That's a 4-5 pounder give or take pictures are so tuff to judge?
  10. Maybe it will include those epic electronics he has on his rig. Let us know even though I won't be able to purchase a boat until after college

  12. Shh don't tell! The same swimbaits in the saltwater section are half the price and are twice as durable
  13. I hate this! I had the healthiest largemouth I've ever caught just a football INHALE a one minus just the other day and she was bleeding dark red blood. I've become more accepting of this now it's all in the game and if you've never lost a fish you don't fish much.... Sucks to see but it happens to everyone.
  14. Compres are awesome little rods, as well as the cheaper clarus. Just don't ever touch a crucial or Cumara you'll want to upgrade bad! I was more than satisfied with my compres and Clarus rods until I fished a crucial
  15. Just jealous you dont get paid to have fun and fish huh? Haters gonna hate! Mike D. Keep doing your thing Lunkerville is great
