  1. There is an 8 point albino buck that lives there. The local news even did a documentary thing on him.
  2. Hope those trokars are!
  3. I was just joking man! I'm going to be in college next year doing the same things!
  4. I think I'm GOING TO take the Gmat exam at the end of the summer. I'm wondering if anyone has taken it and HAS any recommendationS on study/preparation guides? The bookstore has a book for 35 bucks and it INCLUDES a CD, and an explanation of the math problems. Might want to learn grammar before the big Gmat test Lol. Seriously good luck my brain and math don't get along.
  5. You were darn close Catt! Lost by an ounce. You know that place too well it's kinda scary! Hopefully one day I'll be able to learn a body of water that well. I'm headed to Texas tomorrow for a week! Hopefully I can stick one like Ish did...in my dreams!

Came up with nothing!? Those things are legendary literally! The Fat Ika is an all around deadly bait. Weightless is probably the most effective and popular way, but any of the ways you mentioned can work like magic too. Just fish those things! They are fish catching machines. Remember always reverse rig them.
  7. Were gonna try our best to stay on em all year! I'm still a little shaken about losing that one on the swimbait....
  8. I believe so. Haven't seen him post on here lately and he usually makes his presence known...
  9. See this is what a good group of guys can do!!!!
  10. Ish hit a 10-15! I have to ask Catt what is your PB on the bend? He also lost about 11,000 dollars in rods and reels! EDIT: Catt I bet you even know where the spot Ish described is haha. noticed what looked like an old bridge under the surface. So, I flipped my lizard (Berkley 6-inch, watermelon) to the structure and felt the bite. I set the hook and the fish didn't budge," Monroe explained. Problem was, there was a thousand pounds of concrete between him and what he felt like was a truly huge bass.
  11. Sounds like fun! MonteSS seems like a great guy, and his chatterbaits look promising.
  12. Awesome! Yeah with a good cleaning the combo should be just fine. Probally should do the best cleaning you can do at home, and then sent it to DVT to get cleaned and lubed by a pro.
  13. That thing is a chunk! You just keep on killing em'.
  14. Yep decent for for the money. We sell lots of them at our store to those not looking to break the bank. Enjoy hope it works out well for you.
  15. Darn man! Thats awful Looks like a honda fit that got totally crushed. Glad to hear she is doing well.
  16. Save a few more dollars and get a shimano clarus great rod for the money!
  17. Bryan! Glad to have you on board! Your input here I'm sure will be super beneficial to the site. Everyone this is a super nice guy that loves to fish and knows a lot about targeting many species. WELCOME!
  18. This guyyyy! Intro is needed!!! Welcome Bryan.
  19. There -1 instead now hahhaha
  20. I tend to really lay into the fish so with braid and treble hooks this isn't a good combo. With braid there isn't any stretch. If you overdue the hook set, those trebles will be coming right back at ya. Also you will not be getting maximum diving depth with braid. I would never throw a deep diver on braid. It has poor abrasion resistance and a deep diver does a lot of bumping and knicking. Braid with flouro leader maybe...
  21. Braid and crankbaits to me aren't right. Give it a shot and see if you like it i suppose.
  22. IMO there is NO competition here! I mess with the W&M at work and they just overall feel cheap. even casted one and something about it just isn't exactly "WRIGHT" hahah. I cast my Citica all day long into the wind with a little 1/4 crankbait without issues. Besides Shimano's Customer relations is superb. Go with the Citica you will not be disappointed.
  23. Hayden I think the reason your reel casts further has more to do with the rod it is on and the heavier baits you often throw. You curado does feel like it casts a little more effortlessly than mine. Don't know if that has any relation to the anti-reverse paw being removed. Although I have read that most of the time when a reel gets supertuned the paw is removed because many reel guru's just think of it as just another part that can go wrong.
  24. Try a shallow diving crankbait like a mann's baby minus 1. Fish the edges of those weeds with that crankbait! Fish it on mono so you have some forgiving stretch for those trebble hooksets. Vary your retrieve the fish will tell you what they like. Good luck and just give them a fair shot. Some days nothing works better than a crankbait.
  25. I would love to have all nrx's! Lol but realistically shimano's crucial line up is just fine for me. Look around, I had a skeet reese rod and wasn't pleased with it even after only paying 58 dollars for it. Use the one you ordered and see if you like it before you make a serious investment on buying more!
