Abue Verdict..
Have you been able to use it yet?

G. Loomis Imx Or Shimano Ci4F
You'll be happy with either of those reels. That 30 size pflueger would be perfect for the type of setup your looking for.

Swamp Donkey
I thought a swamp donkey was someone that brings a worthless mutt of a dog out to the duck blind with them.

Senko: Is it Evil?
In mid summer up here in MN its tough to beat a senko when your throwing at docks or weed edges. As for being boring or simplistic, maybe, but that changes in a hurry when your constantly reeling in nice fish. I like to employ a lot of different techniques, however, when the sun is high in the sky and the bass are in the shade, they work. Most of the lakes I fish have a abundance of docks and the ones that don't have a lot of fallen trees along the shore.

G. Loomis Imx Or Shimano Ci4F
x2. I'm very happy with my president xt(which is right below the supreme in the pflueger lineup) so I have good reason to believe the supreme should be better. IMHO pflueger spinning reels are very nice at there price points.

Anybody Tried Suffix 832 On Spinning Outfit ??
I have 10# on a couple spinning reels too and it works real good. Last year I used Power Pro on some spinning reels and liked it, but I'm liking the 832 better. Like already said, its quieter and its limper. Power Pro and Suffix 832 are the only types of braid I've used on casting and spinning reels. I have to say that I prefer the 832 on both.

Best Spinning Reel $100 Or Less Best Spinning Rod $125.00 Or Less?
Pflueger president xt on a abu garcia veritas. Not sure what the lightest action is on a veritas though. I have my president xt on a Cabelas XML spinning rod. The XML is a very nice and sensitive rod. Its not as light as the veritas, but it is more sensitive.

Ultralight Fishing Questions
There won't be that much difference. Nothing wrong w/ a 6' rod, especially if the bank your fishing from has brush or trees that would get in the way of your cast.

Ultralight Fishing Questions
IMO I would stay away from a true ultralite setup. A better choice is a 6'6" light fast action w/ a 1000 size shimano reel(using shimano's sizing, not that you have to get a shimano). An ultralite rod can be too noodly sometimes and a 500 size reel doesn't hold much line, has a slower gear ratio, and you can develope line twist easier especially if you fish in current.

The New Forum Format
Another thumbs up here for the new format!

What To Use For Very Small Bass
Another vote for a beetle spin or a inline spinner(panther martin, rooster tail, mepps.....)

Trout lures?
I ordered a bunch of the joes flies spinners. I got some 1/8oz for trout and some 1/4oz. for smallies. They just came in yesterday and man do they look good. They look even better in person than they do online. I will be surprised if these don't work good.

I Hate To Be A Complainer
It took me awhile to figure it out too. I was stubborn and kept at it. I'm getting better with computers, but I'm certainly no wiz.

Reel vs Rod Where should $ be placed?
I used to spend twice as much on a rod, but my taste for reels has become more expensive in the last few years. They have become more even and some of my setups lean towards the reel. IMO there are a lot of good rods and reels in the $100-$200 price range(each).

Reel advice for my new spinning rod
I've had a chance to use my pflueger president xt now and for the $ it is a excellent reel. Got mine brand new w/ box and extra spool on ebay for $63/free shipping. If it continues to impress me as much as it does now, I might sell my saros and get another.

$350.00 BUDGET WHAT ROD SETUP WOULD YOU SUGGEST??
If I had that budget to pick a combo I'd get a Lew's tournament pro and put it on a Powell Endurance 723.

Which reel reviews do you trust?
X2 - especially on the Pfluegers I haven't used pflueger spinners yet, but I just picked up 2 president xt's and really like the way they feel also. Can't wait to try them out.

Anti Virus
I installed 2011 AVG free a couple of weeks ago then uninstalled within a day. It slowed my computer down too much. For the last year or so I've been using STOPZILLA, but its only for spyware, malware... pretty much everything except viruses. I also run ARO registry optimiser. I'm not exactly a puter wiz or anything so I'm not sure what all the differences are between spyware and viruses etc... I haven't got any viruses yet. "knock on wood"

Looking for new rod
I also just bought a lews tourney pro. I put mine on a kistler helium ltx II 7' med. fast action. The lure rating is 1/16-1/2oz. Its definitely a light duty rod. I used a 6'6" ltx mh last summer and really liked it. The mh's are 1/8-3/4. Kistlers seem to be light(power) for their power rating, but the rods are nice.

Which reel reviews do you trust?
I picked up a shimano saros on ebay for less than $100. I haven't used a saros yet, but I've used the stradic and symetre and they are both very nice reels. The saros is right between them in the shimano lineup.

Hundreds of dead fish on local lake
Happens fairly often up here in certain lakes.

Trout lures?
Is there one that works better than others (color)?

Hooks For BIG Worms
I think the gap is more important than the length of the hook. I too try to go with the smallest hook I can get away with. I don't like it when you have a hook shank protruding 2" (or whatever) out the side of the worm.

Buzzzzbaits
This one definitely looks interesting. I've always done well on the Norman style triple bladed ones because of how slow you can retrieve them. I'm definitely going to try some of those cavitrons.

garlic????
I don't understand why garlic works but it must. I've never used too much stuff with it on it, but there are a lot of companies that use it. I've heard smallmouth REALLY like it.
