Windy? If not its most likely the rod, too soft in the tip. The flouro didnt help either. I use a stouter rod with either copoly or braid.

Please dont take this personal, but why are you putting a premium handle on that reel? The handle costs more than the reel. You could use that money to buy into the next class up in reels.

I use 2 anchors in my canoe on super windy days, one in front, one in back..keeps you from swaying.

I just stuck a freshly sharpened pencil in my ear. Same effect.

Make sure you get out there when theres no tournament, and weekends suck out there, a lot of powerboats flying around.

It's not posted as a residents only, and it's in Hampstead, and maintained by the state, so no worries there. I have used it many times over the years, never a problem. Be respectful when launching and nobody bothers you. I'm pretty sure the person posting on that site got it mixed up. There is a public, Atkinson residents only, launch, in Atkinson, just not this one.

take waters edge road, then right on stickney road, the launch is near the end.

pretty sure thats Hampstead, and anyone can launch there. The Atkinson launch is around the other side of the lake.

When you take the road off of 111 to get to the keyed launch, take your first right and follow it down almost to the end. On the right hand side there is a couple of small signs posted on trees, and a small parking area for 2 or 3 cars. It looks like someone's personal property, but it's not. There is a small stairway leading to a dock, thats the launch. When you park, leave your car to the right of the launch, as to not block the stairs, there's a large pine tree, go to the right of that.

How about this: The league has wanted hm out for years, he owns a team in a high profile city, but underfunds it and keeps it a laughingstock, costing the league money.
