The league was weak when Jordan came into it? Probably a mistake saying that..The league appeared weaker later in his career, but I'm not sold on that either. Jordan had another top 50 all time player, but nothing but role players after that, he absolutely made his teams rise above and perform better. When he came into the league he had Boston and the lakers to contend with, then the rockets and the knicks, portland, utah, all top notch teams with hall of famers, but he and his team wanted it more, every night. They never took a night off, never, they wanted to win every game, and thats unheard of.

Ive seen Ike post here, and even though they're not pro's, you can see Mattlures, Bobby Megastrike, Big O and other lure designers/manufacturers. Great sources of info.

Soft plastics, craws, worms and stuff like that. I prefer the rage stuff, but whatever works for you. Poppers are great for summer as well, and I use jigs all year long.

Split rings, skirts, jigheads and blades are pretty cheap, just make your own to suit your style and needs. It really is easy and fun.

I have had the same exact episode happen a couple of times, when it hits, I'm immobilized for half hour or so, literally stuck in position. I found that rest is really the only cure.

Under $20, I like the bbz, the Giron, the savagear 4play, and the tru tungsten. They all have decent action, and are built pretty sturdy. They are all hardbaits.
