Zoom Brush Hogs
Besides the usual colors...okachobee craw and watermelon candy are my favorites Watermelon or Pumpkin magic both work well too. Great bait.

Is there a nice way...
Yo Mamma breath so stinky, when she goes to the bar she orders listerine on the rocks. Personal hygiene is very important... I used to work for a dude that could literally strangle the entire conference room in 15 minutes or less. Either stop eating brown trout from the toliet or get a better dental plan; something level 5 hazmat approved.

Lake Champlain
Indeed. Maybe we should have a VT Meet N Greet or something. Just made a trip to Gander Mtn in Plattsburg today... Was disappointed. Did snag some basics but overall not worth the gas.

dumbest thing you've done while fishing
^^^ LOL I have that one beat... I dropped my brand new DROID into the lake trying to answer it. Fishing gods way of telling me to fish, not to a jack arse. 1st day on the boat last year I caught a nasty snag and while freeing up forgot I wasn't the only one aboard. Fishing partner got whipped in the face hardcore... Not my finest moment. I bought gas \ beer \ bait and still feel bad about it.

GLX ?
This is an excellent suggestion... I keep forgetting to add the hornet to my arsenal.

Lews Baitcaster and Spinning Reels
The baitcaster has been reviewed if you search for it. Seems like a decent design especially for the money. Its not initial performance that concerns me though...

Keeping your tackle hidden from wifee?
LOL - have to agree here. Hiding stuff and not having full disclosure is a recipe for bad stuff.
-
GLX ?
Pretty much any bottom contact application that's lighter than 1/2 ounce. I use my MH GLX for pretty much everything including jerkbaits, buzzbaits and topwater. This rod has a fast tip than mine though.

Swimbaits: Revo S or Revo SX?
That was my thinking as well. Not only that but for large baits a slower gear ratio its easier to keep it in the strike zone.
-
What's the buzz on buzzbaits?
Yeppers! I have a white one as well but Black on Black is deadly at dusk.

Zoom Brush Hogs
You should notice a serious difference. Avid + braid + the right bait = WIN Enjoy!

braid problems
I would say you have a partial backlash when you attempt to hard snap cast for this to occur. A larger diameter line and a more controlled cast could be your answer.

Swimbaits: Revo S or Revo SX?
Revo Winch or Toro Winch is your best bet in the Abu line. I have one for my cranking needs... Great reel for larger baits.

Fishing women, especially if you are unmarried, avoid Montana if you're planning to fish alone.
LOL - seriously? Its America. Land of the... Sounds like lawmakers have been eatin' paint chips again.

What reel?
I have that one and the 51E. If they made a lefty E5 I would have that too. Simple, high quality product. EDIT ABO - BR Sponsor has them $143.9x with $4 shipping

Punching Mats 101
Can someone give me the basics for punching mats and fishing slop? http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1248137420 ^^^ This helped but if we could add to it; that would be great. I did a basic search and have been reading extensively but thought we could get some good information going on this one.

When will cereal companies
Costs money to change their baggin setup. So they use cheaper bag material and glue but the same equipment. The results....... *BOOM* cereal everywhere. I use a tupperware setup (lol from my last marriage). Easier so kids don't make a mess and I can see how much we have left before going back to Costco.

Who buys GY Senkos?
I probably have 10-15 bags left from last year. I will only buy them if I can find that at a discount. Yum Dinger is my favorite sub for them. weightless T-rig or wacky they are tough to beat though.

Few if any pro anglers are from the Northeast. Why?
The short season is probably the biggest factor...

Leader to braid....knots or swivels??
Alberto will be the blue ribbon winner here. I use a nice swivel on my spinning great though...

What weight line for smaller cranks?
Cover and depth normally dictate what test line I use. Baitcasting gear simply works better with larger diameter line. If you can get away with higher # test then why not use it.

Actual drag pressure of Revo's and other low profile baitcasting reels?
tackletour.com/reviewabugarciarevostxpg2.html "The drag system of the Revo STX was the most impressive I've fished to date in such a small reel. In the lab, our Revo STX produced a killer 24 POUNDS of drag pressure when locked down. That's right!!! 24 lbs of drag pressure! At first the 12 pound line on the reel kept on snapping in the middle of the line during the test. We finally spoolled up some 20 pound line and that still snapped half of the time. So we had to up the line test one more time before we got the final result. After we tested out the 24 pounds of drag force, we thought our scale was going bad, so we replaced it with a spare and we were simply amazed by what the Abu Garcia can achieve. " and these dudes love Shimano.
