  1. Awesome pics!!! thanks for sharing!
  2. I was under the impression that as long as you have good insurance for auto, boat (extra coverage) and home that you would be covered?? Perhaps I am wrong with this assumption? I take pictures on all my valuable stuff... Request an additional quote from your insurance company and let us know.
  3. You can use a snap to replace the O-ring or just tie a loop knot. I prefer the loop knot especially with the Sammy and the Spook.
  4. You will appreciate the LTBC70MM from day 1. 8-) Yeppers...
  5. Not a problem my friend. I've always had my best luck in the evenings for the bigger toothy critters. The chatterbait thing I just learned so its new to me but seems effective... It works well in stained water.
  6. I love fishing for Northerns! My bait selections would be: 1) Inline Spinner (Mepps Black Fury #5) 2) Large Jerkbait (LC Pointer 128) 3) Spoon (Syclops #2 / #3) 4) Crankbait (SK #5 in Sexy Shad) 5) Spinnerbait (match the hatch) 6) Chatterbait with Large Minnow plastic (such as a Super Fluke) I bagged my biggest Pike of the year on the Strike King crank but I caught the most on a Mepps Black Fury #5. Happy hunting p.s. that being said its pretty cool if you can generate a topwater hit on a Spook or Frog. Awesome strike!
  7. ^ This... I need to send out my Curado and Winch once I finish up with last time out for the 10th time.

Paca Chuck and Bitsy bug is a deadly combo... I like their craws as well but Rage is still my favorite.
  9. Yikes... This year I was trying to save a deep hooked Northern and he decided I was annoying him...
  10. What does PWNED mean? Owned. What does "Owned" mean? http://www.*/define.php?term=owned Indeed I am older however given my nephews it was necessary to learn some new terms especially when kicking their tail at Madden or other console game.
  11. How about ice fishing.... Doesn't provide the same thrill as bassin'. My son loves it though and it doesn't offer some fine meals.

  14. to soft was my opinion also.that's why i like fireline braid.it has more body to it.they are both excellent. Its way to soft for punching mats or salad fishin' but works awesome for everything else. Great line IMO.
  15. The rod blank certainly matters... Not really sure on casting versus spinning as I don't have any expensive spinning rods. I like being able to palm the reel on casting so I would take that. I do have St. Croix Avid and G Loomis GLX casting rods though and of course these have spoiled me for life. Line is important as well but a really sensitive blank versus a versus lower quality blank isn't even a discussion.
  16. Indeed... I have a ton of LC stuff and the hooks are razor sharp. His must have been made a Friday or *GASP* fakes...
  17. Spro and the rage toad here...
  18. Nice fish! Lately around here slow, lazy presentations are the only way to get bites. That being said Shakey, IKA & dinger have been producing. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Yeppers! That is a sweet paint job.
  20. Greetings welcome to the best fishing forum on the planet. Tons of great people and info. Cheers!
  21. ^^^ This. I will need one of those bluegill cranks...
  22. Nice lure! When I throw my firetiger stuff around here I always end up with a Northern.. Ghost minnow, bluegill, sexy shad and perch work well for me.
  23. Seriously good advice. Thanks!!! Just started using the Shakey-head and was having a few issues.
  24. LOL indeed I'll need to look that up as well.
  25. yeah, im not sure what ur trying to say? LOL be nice... Match the hatch or talk to other area fisherman...
