I have a BCR803 GLX and its easily the best rod I fished... EVER. Rods that are in the same class are also awesome so it depends on your point of view.

Rebel Jointed in Gold with a Black back & white belly... Challenger makes one similar but I keep repainting and retuning my old one. It holds a special place in my pike box. A real Hula popper would be nice too. The new ones are shiza.

I have a Curado 201E7 which is great. For cranking I went with a Revo Winch. If you feel like stepping up to a Core you can get a 6.2:1 or a Curado CU51E in 6.4:1...

Looking for a new backpack for my fishing gear. I have several plano boxes, tackle systems but really like the backback for my shore based activities... What's everyone use? Cabelas Pro Angler looks pretty good. TW also carries one... I read the TT review of the Lowpro Dryzone Rover but seems more towards photography than fishing. Thanks!

lol yeah... Buy new reel or pay mortgage.

Spro Bronzeye frogs (natural or black) or rage toad. My hookup percentage was much better with the toad but I had some youtube worthy strikes on the Spro.

I have one pair of Oakley Gascans in black and a older pair of amber Costas. As stated the light conditions are key.

He probably a vegetarian and only works out with the shake weight. Getting that big is extremely difficult and can be dangerous though but if that's what you want..... GO FOR IT!
