Which reel out of this list?
I have a Curado 201E7 and love it... I also have a Revo Winch for cranks which is super smooth & has a sick drag. Curado is a great reel. Its a workhorse... That being said when I fill my 6.4 spot it maybe an STX.

Rude Anglers
They already make a giant jitterbug, gliddin' rap and subwalk that would work pretty well. 3 ounce catfish or surf casting sinker would also do the trick. I vote for a remote control submarine that has a drill on it... Simply launch at annoying angler, drill several holes, all while smiling and waving. Then laugh as their boat becomes part of the structure. LOL JK But still I say you get a patent for that idea!!! LOL If I could I would.

Food for thought on texas rigged plastics
Me, too! 8-) Indeed. I like the design of the Yum dinger with the slot. I adjust for what I'm throwing it into though. Only if they had that on a better bait! LOL Dingers work great for me... Better as far as durability or just in general? Not sayin' there my favorite or anything. Just wondering.

Eric's tip of the day
LOL @ this thread. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way. I know I have quite a few times. Another tip of the day: If you own expensive tools that you use all the time on your boat like say a nice lipper. Attach them to a bouy. Tip brought to you by some dude I watched dropping his into the lake... He was most displeased.

Rude Anglers
He was probably overcompensating for the absence of his two close friends. 10 bucks says they're in his wife's purse. Pontoons ARE the minivan of boats after all. :D LOL Nice. I politely ask them to leave and 90% of the time they comply. The other 10% are the real nuts.

New Sufix 832 Superline
Suffix rates better than two premium lines? I can see their point about punching mats and whatnot.

Favorite dropshot bait
Although after seeing these posts I will probably try a few new ones.

New Sufix 832 Superline
After spooling up my new setup with Daiwa Samurai I can already tell it will be the only braid I use... Stuff is nuts...

bass hitting bluegills
Lucky Craft Pointer 78 & 100 in blue gill are one of my favorite baits. Or A Kopper Live Target Blue Gill crank *WARNING* Also attracts serious Northern Pike. But I like those too.

Copoly?????
;D ;D ;D ;D that about sums it up for cxx. LOL I also had a negative experience with it.

Favorite dropshot bait
The only thing a use a lizard for... Baby brush hog and tubes produce for me as well.

Which do you think a bass prefers?
I voted shad as well but they hammer craws as well. Out on the lake tonight there was a ton of baitfish being chased to the surface. Made for some good fishing. My son and I caught 17 LMB / 2 northerns in 3 hours.

New Sufix 832 Superline
Fireline definitely breaks, I haven't personally broken it on casts, but I have broken it with relative ease on snags. Has broken fair easier then a handful of other braids I have used. Yep. I do like Fireline for the $. 30# has performed well for me. I am trying Daiwa Samurai... TW box should be sitting at home by now.

Lucky Craft Pointer Silent?
That's the one. 78 and 100 is a great bait in this color on Champlain. I've never used the silent version... I'll add to wish list for next season.

JSJ Dirty Bird
LOL you could buy real birds to use as bait for that. Seriously I guess if you have a pile of money and don't want to give it to me... Buy this.

BPS ProQualifier BC Reel - $69 New!
hmm.... Just bought a Winch but I can always use another reel. Thanks for the tip!

favorite fall set up?
LC Pointer has been absolutely deadly for me. 78 in Ghost Minnow and Ghost Blue Gill. 5" worms, tubes, IKAs and Rage Craws still producing as well though. I did add a tray of lipless to me backpack last night though. As fall goes, when all else fails.... Throw a trap.

Sweet Beaver Colors
watermelon \ green pumpkin with black or red work best for me... <-- whatever they call that. Craw colors as well. Black and blue work great for LMB though.

kistler or dobyns
Next time, just call them. You can also simply order the tip kit from their site. I usually get the replacement in tip in two days. Thanks man I will try that next time. Love the rod, was disapponted in service but I can see your point.

I'm screwed!
I love my Avid... Its down for repairs now but it was my favorite rod ever. While its getting fixed I'm using a Loomis GLX BCR though so I guess I'll get by.

Couple good ones from Natchez,Ms
Awesome pics and fish!

kistler or dobyns
I've heard good things about Dobyns. I have a Avid AVC70MHF... It was quite awesome an all around rod however the cermanic insert fell out of the tip a few weeks ago. When I inquired about a replacement or even upgrading to a more expensive rod it took them more than a week to respond. I picked up a Loomis GLX to help ease the pain.

Revo STX or Citica baitcasters
The Citica is a great BC for the money. Revo STX is supposed to be quite nice as well. Bassinator mentioned its a Lefty and a 2009 model which I'm sure is still quite nice. I have a Revo Winch inbound tomorrow then I can more accurately speak of Abu products.
