Glide Baits ..
The 175's are nice and the new versions swim much better then a OG. The only issue is moisture getting inside the new style baits. It seems to be a common issue but they still catch fish.

Baits That Walk The Dog Subsurface...
It's actually a spook type bait that floats but the Sebile Bongo Minow. It kinda of walks right under the surface or even with it. It's actually one of my favorite spook type baits.

Line Snapping Issue
The issue with braid is it can not handle instant shock all at once. Like for instance getting a backlash mid cast and snapping off a lure. Are you hammering home your hook sets and doing it with a bunch of slack in the line? That right there can be a problem. Even if it doesn't break right away it can be breaking strands on the inside and gradually making it weaker. That happens with braid over time even though you can't see it. If it's the knot possibly I would recommend a Uni or SDJ.

Glide Baits ..
I would take a S-waver over a savage hear any day. They are a much better bait. Also the $20 LC glides swim like crap and a junk so don't waste your money.

Best Way To Add Weight To A Hook?
Wrap some suspend strips around it. I have done it before and it works great.

Double San Diego Jam Knot For Mono And Flourocarbon
I use justa single SDJ or Uni for all lines. They are both excellent knots for pretty much anything it seems. I kinda go back and forth between them when I tie knots. I don't really have a reason for it other then it is something different and to mix it up. They are both easy to tie and never fail me. I don't really seem the reason or double knots if the knots is supposed to be a strong knot to begin with. Supposedly something like 90% or more so any gains would be minimal it seems. To me it's just more line and more knot for you to mess up on and possibly tie a weaker knot.

Lews Rods
They had the HM85's on sale and it was a heck of a deal. If you are comparing it to a bucco if that if your falcon rod then it's no surprise it's bettet. They are not on the same level as far as rods go. I am really looking forward to the new model they are coming out with. They are cheap and I bet they will be amazing.

Using The Larger 9" Soft Swimbaits?
Your rod is rated for 1/2-8 oz. So a half ounce up to eight ounces? That doesn't seem correct to me. Any rod that can supposedly handle 8 oz is going to have a bit of a issue casting half a ounce. Not to say it's impossible but it's not going to load the rod.

Do You Throw Lures In A Specific Order?
A lot of times I just fish whatever I feel like fishing even if it isn't the best choice. I fish however I want to fish and it it comes to a point where I cant buy a bite and have to catch one then I use what is best. Fishing is supposed to be fun and enjoyable. Forcing my self to fish a way I don't want to is not. I am not really interested in just catching fish all the time. I don't really care anymor if I catch 20 fish is they are all 2#. I will just use what I want to use since it doesn't matter anyways.

Swimbait
If you did buy a weedless shad you might be heart broken pretty quick. They might last 10-20 fish or they might last 1 or 2. They are a excellent bait but are expensive if you are only getting a couple fish each on them. I stopped buying them for that reason.

What To Fish At Night
Ms slammer and shell crackers really come to life at night. Actually so does a silent killer and I think they are way over looked. Any wake or subsurface bait usually does pretty good.

Summer Jerkbait
The size 4 X-Rap is a absolute killer. If your fishing shallows or like a pond ect it works all year. It is just the perfect size of a little minnow. It will catch bluegill and all that cause it's so small. You get a lot of little dinks too that you would never normally catch but big ones will still grab it also. You just have to grind threw the little ones.

- Golf Course Ponds??
Every golf course I have ever asked had told me no. They always had some kind of reason on why'. One place said something about me getting hit in the head with a golf ball. I told the guy I have a hard hat in my car from work so no problem. I will even throw a vest on so everyone can see me over there. He didn't go for it though- Summer Jerkbait
You don't catch fish with flukes when they break the surface? That is what I want them to do and and so do the fish. Quick ad just below the surface.- Closest Thing To A Senko?
The bps ones are cheap last a while and you get a bunch in a pack.- $150. How Would You Allocate Funds For A Rod And Reel?
The rod is important but you don't want to buy a cheap reel that breaks or is a pita to fish with. Get something that you will continue to use down the road. Even a cheap rod can still be used for something but a cheap reel is different.- Rod Line Guides
Lots of rods have those even very high end rods. I have a glx with the recoil guides and there is no insert. They are suppose to be more for braid I guess. I have heard about braid grooving a insert but have never had it happen my self.- Better Wide Gap Fluke Hook
If you use a screw lock hook and stick a piece of toothpick or paperclip through the bait and the screw it is never piling out. Just a little tip if your having trouble keeping the screw in the nose of a bait.- Should One Automatically Change Out The Stock Treble Hooks On All Of Your Lures?
I don't know what brand R2S uses but I have bent the crap out of 168 hooks. I tend to change them out anyways on some baits for EWG hooks.- My Bull Story
I have caught a lot of fish on the spro king daddy frog. That thing is a monster compared to regular frogs.- Keep Loosing The Brake Knob
- Finger Nail Polish On Hooks
As Tom just stated they or the head of the bait or try to. Fins only fold down one way and thays from head to tail. Ever catch a fish with a tail sticking out of its throat? I have many times but have yet to see a head sticking out. As for the smell on baits I wouldn't worry. It will eventually go away and will still catch fish even if it stinks like whatever. If you ever had a Huddleston and it was your first one I can bet you pulled it out of the package and thought wow. They totally reak of plastic or chemicals. They smell straight up poisonous and I have caught fish on fresh out that pack ones.- Placing A Tw Order
I can't say I read every post but you are to worried about color. Keep it simple and natural. Green, brown, black, white-pearl, whatever is natural. What line to use? I assume you are using a spinning rod and I would recommend 20# power pro. As for baits and stuff it all depends on your budget. Sometimes you can get away with a cheaper bait of te same kind and sometimes you can't. For instance those pointer jerkbaits or a vision. They are expensive to a lot of people but the difference in big. - Golf Course Ponds??
