  1. For some reason this doesn't surprise me. ? I should have chosen my word better, larger boats, IMO, are just more to run and maintain. Again, JMHO.
  2. 2021 Edgewater 158CS. More pics here:
  3. A little upset today?
  4. I had a feeling you would. I have vision issues in my left eye, so I try to keep it simple! ?
  5. I like the idea and out of the box thinking but instead of of carrying all those leaders would it be easier to tie a surgeons loop at the end of the line and attach your sinker to it? You pass the loop thru your sinker hole, open up the loop and bring the sinker back thru. It's tied on and can be taken off and replaced much faster. Edit:
  6. Rain here in New England. 30* now and 42* tomorrow. Not used to it being this warm in mid-February. No complaints though. ?
  7. Can't agree more. The hassle of painting blades only to see them get scratched up after a few casts isn't worth it in my opinion unless you powder paint . If you want to do the glitter idea, then get the blades pre-painted then add the glitter at home.
  8. Well I have to admit, I don't watch much TV unless the hometown team is on. This year with the pandemic, I found it hard to watch sporting events. This past summer (2020) i was working at my house in Maine. I found myself going without lunch so by dinner time I was ready to eat my arm. Got a sandwich and turned on the television. Nothing on. Channel surf, channel surf and landed on Chicago PD. I ended up watching like 4 episodes in a row. By the time fall ended I was caught up in all 7?, I think, seasons...? Yes, I just admitted that.
  9. She finally came in: Electronics will be going in, they’ll paint the bottom of the boat to protect it while it’s moored and they’ll fill it up with the gas when I take it to Maine this spring.
  10. I had a cork grip ruined when the dog - then a puppy - got at it. I ended up splitting the grip and wanted to paint, but I couldn't get the old epoxy level enough or filled enough to make it smooth to my satisfaction. I ended up thread wrapping and did a fish net. This was a few years ago and was my first grip conversion. Really had a lot of fun doing to it!
  11. Had a flaw....I gotta redo these
  12. Thanks man! Will be posting pics soon! Hey bud, If you want to fish with us at the Q you’re more than welcome to join us. If anyone in this thread wants to join us, have at it!

  16. There ya go man! Maybe you and your future wife can have that baby after all! ?
  17. I’ve been talking to @Boomstick about a possible trip to the Q this spring, you up for a fish up/meet up?
  18. @DogBone_384 and @Mr. Aquarium Change of plans, looks like Sunday will be the day for those prototypes My boat care up from FLA and I’m signing papers for it tomorrow Have a good weekend
  19. Yes, helps a lot. Looks like I gotta go shopping. Thanks again. This thread couldn’t have come at a better time. Thanks for posting @TOXIC.
  20. Hey bud, my boat came in finally and before I drop in the water I’d like to get protection on it. The 2 products you posted, you said you use on the boat? Do you do all “hard” surfaces with it or just where gel coat? About how long does your boat take to detail and I’m assuming you’d probably need like 70* weather to do it in? The dealer wants way too much to do this, so now I’m in education mode. Any help is appreciated. Thanks man
  21. This morning I got an email from a fitness equipment retailer: "The Perfect Gift for Valentine's Day Gift for Her!" That's like saying: "Happy Valentines Day, I thought this would be perfect for you since you've put on few pounds over the years." Nope...I really need a good night sleep.
  22. He used be a member here if memory serves, correct?
