Usually lines come with a slick coating, which is normal as you experienced when you spooled up. Most likely, Triline didn't know what they were doing when they formulated it (Much like early Vanish) and it lost the slickness causing it to feel dry, etc. I think its a mfg problem not user. I'm not sure though, as i've never used Sensation. And also, I thought Sensation was just a low stretch mono, not a copoly? :-?

Only on some. I really only use it for bottom contact lures (t-rigs,jigs, etc), where sensitivity is a MUST. However everything else besides topwater is Flouro, and top is mono.

In my semi-professional opinion, I prefer to use Daiwa baitcasters ans SHIMANO spinning reels.

Bearing count is misleading. Buzzzzzzkilll Sorry if I ruined your reel for you, its still a fantastic reel don't get me wrong. Im just saying that buying a reel based on bearing count is misleading. Shimanos generally have less bearings, but they make up for it with the smoothness of the reel.

looks. I don't wan't to fish an unattractive reel if I can get a prettier one with comparable performance. Having said that though, I will fish ugly reels if performance is there. Looks is mainly for comparable reels. Also good dependable service, and durability.
