  1. Forgot to mention.... Use it while spooling also. Every dozen or so turns either spray as you spool or wet an old nylon and run the line through. Useing a non absorbent rag you use a lot less. Mike Yes it does all that. Some guys use it on the reel. and no it does no damage or leave a slick or sticky film as others do.
  2. Been useing it for years. A few squirts the night before and makes the line more manageable. I use it on braid also Mike

  4. Yes No need to keep them running when not needed Mike
  5. Comparing 5's to 8's is a big difference that should be considered. From 6's to 7's, the difference isn't enough to worry about for what you want to use it for. Anyway, all things being equal faster is more versatile Mike
  6. Exactly! You beat me to it. I got a spinning combo somewhere that I used when I started the kids fishing and took it away. I bought them thier own so they can use both if and when they ever felt the need. Mike
  7. I use original Power Pro for the 2 braid techniques I throw. (Frog and punching) and have no complaints. Mije

Just keep dunking them for about 10-15 seconds at a time. Depending on how bad, and how hot the water is, it could take a few minutes. Mike
  10. From what I've read, personally seen and felt, the JM Signature Rods seem to be excellent. And I'm not saying that because you see some pro's using them. Mike

  12. I couldn't care less about KC or NE. But personally I think KC is gonna light em up. Sorry @ajay ? Mike
  13. They're good all year 'round. Another way is when you see shad busting on top, put a white anything on and toss behind them bringing it through. When you reach the edge of where you see them, kill it!! Mike
  14. Sorry, but why does it matter? I open a thread based on the subject matter not the date it was written. But thats just me Mike
  15. If you want a big "thumper" pick up a Big EZ Mike
  16. The Duz-It has been around a long time. I use the bronze colored blade on a 6/0 almost exclusively on Okeechobee and other similar lakes down here. The advantage to them is you can move the blade up or down the hook which will change the presentation. Mike
  17. Tim Horton showcased these on his show a few years ago. His company, Profound Outdoors sells them already rigged. Mike
  18. I do this as well, works great. Label the wall of each compartment with a magic marker Mike
  19. Ditto Also, I'd absolutely throw a weightless magnum speed worm across that stuff. Mike
  20. John I'm curious, I got a K for Christmas and plan on useing either 20# Flouro or 65# braid on it. What is it about the K that you don't recommend it for heavy line?? Mike
  21. Sorry His one job is to kick it with a high enough trajectory that it doesnt get blocked and drills the most important kick in the most important game. If the line breaks down and the center or the guard misses his assigned block, that's different ...That didn't happen. Absolutely! That was the worst decision Pace made in his 5 years. Mike
  22. Pretty much the same for me. As a co angler every combo I bring does double duty Mike
  23. I'll bet the moron walked into the left wall of the tunnel on his way to the locker room!! Wait a week or so you'll be able to stand next to his statue in Philadelphia next to Foles's Mike
