  8. PB&J some fruit and ice water. I used to bring sandwiches, cookies or crackers of some sort, and always felt sluggish for hours after. Not anymore. Mike
  9. Do it Drew....When you're ready and when you can, Just take a few hours away by yourself. Even if you don't catch anything it doesn't matter. Just get on boat and float around awhile or walk along a shore somewhere. Mike

    Welcome back!! Mike
  11. Well you answered part of your question; ) Depending on cover I'd be throwing a frog, plastics and a swim bait. In small waters like that a fluke, wacky rig and a shaky head should keep you busy. Mike

Interested in knowing what he used.... Petey Rig?? Mike
  13. IMHO If you use Flouro get the best you can afford. There are many manufacturers with different quality and characteristics in their various lines. Vanish is not Shooter and Yo Zuri is not Tatsu That said Yo Zuri's Flouro is affordable and average imo compared to others in their price range. "You get what you pay for" is more accurate when comparing Fluorocarbon lines than the other line types. Mike
  14. For me it's a Skinny Dipper for when they want action or a Big EZ for more thump. Having a a lot of luck lately with a punch skirt on the Dipper. Mike

  16. Honestly I never have! I've seen them only on the bottom running and hopping a few inches. Never occurred to me that a craw would jump to the surface making the fall back down a viable weightless option. I know now Thanks Mike
  17. Worms and other plastics I understand and use them all the time, but craws to me are meant to be dragged so I always use a weight, that's why I asked.. Thanks Mike
  18. Swim bait on a keel weighted hook...Copperfield Big Ez or Houdini Skinny Dipper Rage Cut R...Honey Candy or June bug Magnum Speed Worm...June Bug Sweet Beaver or Pit Boss....June Bug (Scum Frog in my back pocket ) Good Luck Mike
  19. Mmmm, I've never thrown a weightless craw. Never even thought about it as a craw wouldn't be falling through the water column. What am I missing? Mike
