Favorite water you've fished.
Clearlake. I was fortunate enough to take a few trips there when I started bass fishing.

Correct, days 2 and 3 canceled. The boater and boat washed up on shore last night around 930pm. Boater is in the hospital. They are still searching for the coangler.

Best Flip and Pitch rod opinions?
I just purchased a 7'6" Heavy Extra Fast Carbonlite rod from BassPro and love it. Paired with the brand new Carbonlite 2.0 reel. Its extremely light, Pitches very smooth, great backbone and very sensitive.

Okeechobee 4 baits
Lets say "hypothetically" you are registered in next weekend's FLW Costa Series at The Big "O" as a Co-Angler and you can only take 4 baits with you, GO......

Looking for BFL boater link Gator Division
Would any boater planning on fishing the BFL Gator Division be interested in linking with me for priority registration for the upcoming season? I just moved from the west coast where I fished the Costa series. Unfortunately, I havent had the chance to meet anyone out here on the East Coast yet. Please let me know if you are in need of a co-angler link. Thanks in advance. Doug

co angler: how to fish "slow"
I learned my lesson a little while back. I was a Co in a tournament where the Pro up front got to call all of the shots (and rightfully so in this format). He was screaming down the bank while hugging it and I couldn't even make bottom contact behind. To make it worse, we were running between the bank and timber, so behind the boat was my only option. I have found that heavy (3/4 or 1 oz) swinging jigheads, 1oz snag free (lindy rig weights) for C-Rig, and some heavy weighted swimbait hooks should always be in your arsenal. It may not be the slow finesse style you are looking for, but at least there are a few options to catch fish. Good Luck!
