  5. I should have posted a disclaimer...Thanks Glenn. Of Course products specifically designed for that purpose are always preferred over some sort of short cut or home remedy. Certainly those that helps the healing process should be in every boat and co angler bag. I keep a jar of Rejuvenate in mine. Mike
  6. I've tried it and yes it does work if it's not gut hooked too bad and minimal damage was done. But only for a short time, which sometimes is all it needs. Mike

  17. I really don't have one brand that I use above all, maybe I should. My first choice for a trailer tho is a headless RI Skinny Dipper or Rage Menace. Mike

    Hello, Welcome and Thanks! Mike
  19. That's one of the reasons I don't use the swimmers. I saw those Ripple Shads out your way somewhere and thought about picking up a pack but didn't. Mike
  20. Currently I use an Allstar ASR jig rod with a Curado E. IMHO best jig rod not made anymore. However I will be getting a Loomis JWR rod soon. Just have to decide which one. Mike
  21. I normally throw a popping frog (no real favorite) when it's windy and there is a mild chop on the water. And a non popper (usually a Scum Frog) in relatively calm water, target casting or over heavy vegetation. Mike
  22. Absolutely! There are times down here, in no matter what type of waters you fish, that you won't put the rod down. RI Skinny Dippers for a faster tail action and the Big EZ for the times when you want a little more thump. I don't use the EZ Swimmer's as I just don't see the need. I like the Houdini color for the Dippers and either Copperfield or 49er for the Big EZ. Mike
