I second 7'3'" MH *** or even the Abu Veracity. With a MH you can throw T-Rigs, Jiggs, Spinnerbaits, bigger Cranks, buzzbaits. And if need be frogs.

I was on a small park pond and had to reel me line in to get out of the way for a paddleboat. I was throwing a weightless lizard, while burning it back to me it was skipping off the top off the water and had a 4lb Largemouth take it. I found that strange and exciting. Also have caught a 10lb Catfish and 30lb carp on Cranks

The BPS by me is awful for the time shares and I am too young to sign up for it and still get hounded by them. I started phasing them out when they started getting rid of products to make more room for their products. The big turn off was when I bought three Revos STX and the guy didn't know what he was doing and when I got home I had a left handed SX, a left handed STX and a right handed STX. And not one of them were in the Gear ratio I asked for and I am right handed. Another thing that set me off was that I chated with an online rep and they told me I could get the Rapala DT Ike's colors at my store however when I get to the store one guy didn't know what I was talking about and another one whispered to me like the baits were top secret that they only sell them online and they are the ONLY place to get them even though I bought mine from TW. DANG you got me venting now.

if I only remembered what grass looked like. It was in the upper 40s, lower 50s the last three days. The snow started to melt but now we are getting 8" of snow and 1" of ice tonight into Thursday. Spring will never hit Ohio.

living in NW Ohio we broke the record for most snowfall in a single winter 81". And yet we are due to another 2-4 fall tomorrow. The weather man is saying if we get our temps into the mid 20s by the first day of spring we will have something to celebrate. Today it is going to be 15 with a low of -4. This winter will never end for us up here. I am pulling my hair out since all my hobbies are summer hobbies (fishing, golfing, and paintball).

I live in Ohio, Toledo Area, however I find myself fishing Michigan waters more than Ohio waters. I personally enjoy Devils Lake, Round Lake, Wamplers, River Raisen, Evens Lake when in S.E Mich but I prefer to go up to Torch lake, Walloon Lake, and Lake Charlevoix.

This is probably a long shot but does anyone know where I can get the Team Daiwa Iaconelli Rods that were out before he jumped over to Abu Garcia?

Please and Thank You that would be very helpful I am very patient when it comes to buying gear now since I live in Ohio and it is 20 degrees and waters frozen over until April.

I don't mind a crappy hook keeper because I can always put a new one on it.

Anyone have any experience with this rod either spinning or casting I know they are new and I am interested in picking one or two up just don't know much about Lamiglas or the rod specs sound nice though.

to be different the new Mitchell 300 Pro is a great reel at that price and the Daiwa Legalis is actually the reel I use on all my spinning setups can't beat it.

Like iabass said Red Label is not as abrasion resistant like higher end Seagaur however I have used both lines. The castability on flouroclear is awful every other cast I had a backlash. I have Red Label on all my reels now and love it.

Just got home from my local Bass Pro and they were having a clearance sale on the Team Daiwa pro 100 reels for 59.88 regular 129.99. I wasn't looking for a new reel but at that price I bought the last three reels they had in stock. Two left hand and a righty. Also as I was walking away I seen they had Carrot Stix rods on clearance for 54.99 so I bought the last one because I needed a frog rod and it was a Heavy Action rod like I wanted.

X2 on the Red Line if I'm not using Yo-Zuri Hybrid Red Line is on them.

For small cranks I like to use 12lb fluorocarbon. All my fluorocarbon is Seagaur Red Line but Yo-Zuri Hybrid would probably be what you want to put on in 12#. It is more of a diverse line that works well with cranks and other type bait you might throw with that combo.

Is it at all possible to get sponsored before you start your Tournament career? What I mean by that is I am 23 years old and in the process of trying to find a bass club in my area. The area I live in has only one club within a 2 hour radius and it has a waiting list to join due to their restricted membership. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Management plus a Minor in Small Business Management and Associates degree in Marketing. I am a nonboater getting ready to start on the tournament scene. I was just wondering if it was a waste of mine and the company's time if I were to try to solicit myself and to them before I start tournament fishing?

What you say about the rod is what all the positive reviews said which out number the three negatives. I am ready to pull the trigger on this rod.

Thank you the reviews I read was on tackle warehouse and Denali website. They said it is heavier than advertised, too many guides and the amount of guides take away from its sensitivity.
